EVO 2012 Thread 2 Because one thread wasnt enough to hold all the hype and the salt

Is a game bad when commentators talk a lot about strategies revolving timeouts?

Not necessarily, but it does highlight how much comeback mechanics are important to the Capcom crowd. This game doesn't really allow you to lose for half the round and come back. The second someone is behind, they need to start clawing back.

rofl why does nobody think SFxT can be fixed?

3rd strike took 2 revisions to be good. ST took countless as well.

This game isn't going to get those revisions. They're not going to waste the money on a dead horse. Any gameplay lessons from this game are going to be applied to their next one- I could see where they were trying to fix issues with SF4, but it didn't entirely work.

I dont think Capcom will be working on this game anymore. They will release the last patch on the 31st and move on despite them saying they will continue to support this game.

They had a panel on Friday talking about how they're going to try to fix it and how a patch is coming. It's happening.

Whether they succeed or not, who knows. It's certainly a dull game to play and watch at its current form.

But they said they are totally revamping/balancing the game at the capcom panel soooooo
