EVO 2012 Thread 2 Because one thread wasnt enough to hold all the hype and the salt

So...all this seems to stem from him being salty about the FGC not giving a fuck about him.

He pops off whenever he can about the FGC yet has the balls to ask for donations from the FGC.

Keeps saying its not about the money when he pretty much gets whatever is left of his "fighting game division" to go after MLG where the bigger pot is.

One hypocrisy after another from this guy. He makes one good statement then goes ahead and makes ten really retarded ones. And nobody gives a flying fuck about trading cards.

After watching the VF tournament and then the finals I'm so hyped to get about in FS. I really wish Chibita showed up though.

Really, you just woke up? AE top 8 was pretty bad, as in not good. Most matches were one sided and Infiltration won it. He beat everybody for free, which included Daigo, PR Rog, and Gamerbee. I think it was said that he only lost 1 round against those 3 opponents. Dude is on another level right now, seriously.

Really happy that Infiltration won. Tremendous player, who is godly with 4 different characters! Seemed to be on the precipice of winning many big ones but never quite got there.

And he won it with an exclamation point. I've never seen anybody dominate a Street Fighter EVO top 8 like that.

It wasn't just today either. He was destroying notables left and right on Friday too.

You say that, but I have a problem with your explanation.

SFIV just isn't very exciting game to watch and it wasn't designed to be if you look at the mechanics and game engine. That's why matches need to be close for the game to be exciting and generate hype. A one sided affair in KOF XIII will still look flashy as fuck because of the insane damage potential and crazy combos. In SFIV, not so much because of you know what.

People might not be able to put it into words, but KOF XIII simply exposed SFIV for being a rather dull game to watch given it's mechanics. Next year they can be on time or have the players in perfect form for all I care, there's never going to be half as many jumping/movement options or Hyper drive combos followed by a max cancel in SFIV.

Marvel 3 is an inferior game to KOF XIII imo, but I think most find it exciting because of the quick pace and that one hit can lead to massive damage or a quick change of momentum or even a quick blowout. KOF XIII also has the massive damage and one hit can lead to a quick change of momentum, but zoning or footsies and smart read are also rewarded and it demand top notch execution.

SFIV has absolutely nothing on KOF XIII except the most well known international players dedicated to it.
