What's your dream job?

For nearly 10 years it has been "concept artist for Bungie", and who knows maybe some day I'll ride that train. But for now, I still have a lot of work to do to earn my ticket.

A rockstar.

After that running my own leading animation company, or working at Pixar/Valve.

Someday I'll achieve one of these!*

*The rockstar one is a huge pipe dream, but my god would it be awesome.

I would love to have a fully equipped studio and just work on my photography full-time.

...instead I just use one down the road (owner rarely charges me for rental luckily) and work on my photography on the weekends.

Close but so far.

Founder and CEO of an engineering science company created for the betterment of humanity.

Except without the cataclysms companies such as Aperture or Black Mesa cause. :P

If I couldn't be working for myself I suppose I'd love to work for that company that just tries to make weird shit a reality, like lightsabers and mecha, what were they called again?

To have been gifted enough to play in the NFL and win a SB for my favorite team. Thats all I wanted to do growing up oh well a man can dream.

That would be cool.

Don't forget Sarif Industries from DX: HR. Probably the coolest.

Becoming a school teacher?

Either that or any social-oriented job like social worker, school counsellor, psychologist etc.

I think being a movie/rock star would be amazing. I'd probably take movie star over rock, though. You'd be able to travel all over, have millions of people enjoy your work, get paid insanely well. I'm not the type of person who craves or even wants attention, but I think it would be kind of cool to be that well known. Plus I'd be a great person to be rich. I'd do awesome things with my money if I had millions.

More realistically would to be an artist that makes a great/very comfortable living. Anything from a concept artist for games to a fine artist who sells paintings/drawings. I'd also love to be an Architect who works on amazing projects.. unfortunately, that career field is abysmal, so I struck it off my list. Or a game designer with a good, stable company. Hell, even being a writer who has notable work and makes a comfortable living would be great.

Acting is pretty easy.

I don't like working, so probably would enjoy getting paid to do nothing. Get paid to not press the red button or something.

I vote #1 logforgirls!

As long as I get to speak Japanese/ Korean I will be happy. Right now I think I'd like to work in foreign policy, maybe as a diplomat. Either that or medical interpreting.

Own some land with a couple of trout lakes and have people come and fish there. Since it's my ideal job, I'd be making enough to pay the bills and have time spare to go to look after my garden.

I don't need the sports car and multiple holidays each year; just time to pursue my hobbies and look after my family.

OTR Owner/Operator. Sadly, some amazingly stupid decisions I made several years ago has forever screwed me. Oh well.

Second choice would be a crane operator I guess.

Outlandish dream job: Write for animation.

Reasonable dream job: Whatever one will afford me to live comfortably (read: not be in debt, own my own home, car, etc.) and still enjoy my hobbies such as travel, animation, games, etc.

That would be cool.

I agree actually, Sarif and his company were awesome, I'll model my boss voice after a combination of Sarif and Cave Johnson. It's why I'm focusing on networking more than anything else during university, I need to sound out future employees with similar ideas and ambitions. Yes most people would think it impossible to accomplish, but I believe in aiming for the stars if you want to be happy.
