I couldn't date someone who wasn't a gamer. Gaming is a big part of my life and I would need to share that with my SO. I would love my SO to smoke weed because weed is great and high sex is the best sex ever :P

My no no would be someone who takes life too seriously, who can't take a joke, someone who's too sensitive is also a no no. I love a sensitive guy who is in tune with his emotions but keep it in check, I can't have you crying after watching Titanic. :P

I don't even know that many gamers IRL... sad state of affairs! I would like someone to play Dark Souls II (*.*) with if I ever felt the need to have a partner in the near future!

I got pretty lucky with my guy. He's not casual, I'm just not sure how deep the rabbit hole goes. He's currently playing both of the recent PoPs, darksiders and wants to learn both vf and tag2. That said we don't play too much together, but maybe that will change once he moves in.

Our music tastes at face value are polar opposites. I like a lot of alternative and female vocals (Sia, roison Murphy, janelle monae etc), he really digs lamb of God, asking alexandria and whatnot. There's a huge amount of middle ground though, and he constantly surprises me like with his fandom for Conway twitty.

Every time I find out something about him it makes me love him more. The other day he was impersonating old Gregg. It's silly but that only made me <3 him harder

Also, I wouldn't date a gamer per se, as many gamers have socializing skills issues. Many aren't that outgoing, and don't really take care of themselves, and would rather stay infront if the tv for hours on hours than to go out have mutually fulfilling experiences that help grow a relationship. This isn't the rule obviously, but I'm sure many have heard the saying the opposites attract? Well it's very much true.

Totaly. I thought it was Hardy for the longest time. They should be in a movie together where they play twins.
 
So many of the guys in the CS part of my school are horrible people. a lot of them are socially awkward and misogynistic. I would totally not date a stereotypical gamer. I consider myself pretty fortunate to have friends that are (for the most part) pretty decent people.

Kids at my school (literally) make "arrow to the knee" jokes unironically still. It's awful. One time some guy made a rape joke about my mom to me. I was just like, "What...are you?"
