Well I'm going to sleep. Billie if you're serious my account name is Ezalc just like my screenname here, I'll repay you when I get everything set up correctly which I hope will be in like a month when I actually get internet on my desktop.

Night people.

The number of different exercises look pretty insane at a first glance, but it looks like a really solid routine.
I might adapt this into my own routine, I just need to work in a little cardio because my stamina is terrible.
It hits in all the right places. It's definitely a workout you can feel.

I skimp on leg day though. I only do one calf raise exercise. His leg routine is killer. 144 squats... The first couple weeks I couldn't even sit right.

I also swap out dead lifts for rack pulls on back day.

Don't accept! It's Garshasp!

Garchomp?

So I am very LTTP on this reading of dirty smut thing, but my SO insisted that I do it so I did it. Hard.

Vocaroo is awful at recording!

Here's the dropbox version from my computer:

I affected the worst accents I could think of, so don't be offended if you're a valley girl or some weird hybrid of Scottish and Irish, I did it for the craft!

That's so hilarious, i might die from laughing.

Edit: the drop box link is far superior.

Here's an awkward post-gym photo illustrating how good I feel at the moment.

I forgot I hate my teeth and smiled.

Anyway I think I did far too much tonight because I was trying to make up for eating crappy this weekend and not going to the gym. Feels good though.

I took a shower while GAF was down for a bit and just finished eating a delicious cold clementine.

My arms and legs hurt a little. I upped the weight on the machines today. Couldn't nearly do as much but felt like I was getting a much better workout.

Well, I spent my $15 of allotted monies for this Steam sale. Got the Alan Wake bundle and Assassin's Creed II. I may break my rule and pick up some horror-type game or something for $2.50 on the last day though.

Does anybody in here practice Yoga? If so, how easy is it for an extremely clumsy person to injure themselves (because I am seriously worried I will injure myself)?

It is very low-impact, and you'll recognize poses that are too advanced for you without much trouble. It isn't so risky in terms of injury; you'd stand more of a chance injuring yourself playing basketball or soccer for the first time.

That said, don't try and push yourself or do something that simply feels wrong to you- listen to your body. While intensive Yoga should make you sweat and can be uncomfortable, it's not the kind of thing that should result in pain, so take it easy.

This.

I do yoga, even though I'm so inflexible haha.

Unfortunately, my brother is not going to eat it since he doesn't trust me. :( At least I'm not going to sleep with hunger so more for me. :)

What about judo?
I took some classes a long time ago (before the MMA craze drove prices upward).
It exercises everything in your body and you get some self-defense skills.

Ass Creed still DRMed?

Yes, but the strict, always-on DRM was patched out.

Ok, thank you. I'm trying to find exercise that I can handle while I deal with some medical issues, and Yoga seems like it would be something I could do. I've also heard it can be good for anxiety, and since mine has worsened lately I've been looking for something that can calm me down.

Lol, that's good to know since I am the same.

Rice looks pretty good man. I don't know how to make rice because my roommate bought this fancy rice cooker that somehow uses a computer to figure out how to cook rice perfectly no matter what you add to it. It's crazy and Japanese.

It's great for calming down.

I'd maybe try a couple of classes, though, because they can correct your form! Yoga is all about correct form, even if you're not too deep into it. If you have bad form, it does nothing for you.

I did Gymnastics wjere I had the flexibility and balance, where even doing a barrel roll would go sideways. /fail

Then after 2 years, I could do backwards flips and put my chin to the ground while sitting. /proud

Always wanted to do Yoga after quitting, Maybe I should make that my Winter goal.

There's this awesome kung-fu sifu in the area that teaches waterbending (tai chi) and earthbending (hung ga) that I really want to go to. I'd want to learn tai chi because hung ga is all about like, being able to take hits and being strong and I'm not a big dude. My friend did hung ga with him and said he was awesome.

I just don't have time or money this school year for two nights of kung-fu a week. Maybe next year. I think it'd be a fun way to get more fit and in control of my body.

I would get a Yoga block. A very simple tool that can make a huge difference as a beginner. I waited way too long to get one; they're quite cheap and worth it in my opinion.

Meh. I think kung-fu would be fun to learn because a lot of it is about controlling your body and that kind of thing, which I like.

Plus the guy teaches really informally and does it out of a work out room he has built in his house. He doesn't do belts or specific lessons, you just show up and get into the swing of things and constantly learn. No more than like 10 people in a class.

That seems like a good way to learn.

Thanks. I'm Hispanic; rice is an important part of our diet and meals.so we have to know how to cook it. Holy crap! A rice cooker that has a computer!? What is the world coming to? Does it cook the rice good?

To make a stove top pot of rice, simply add 1-2 cups of rice; rinse the rice; add about 2 cups water; add two spins of salt (table salt or what have you; taste to check if it needs more salt), add a few drops of oil (or butter); fire up the stove to high heat, stirring it occasionally; once it comes to a boil and starts drying up, lower the stove to low heat; put a lid over the pot checking it occasionally and stir it; add a few more drops of oil; once it looks dry, turn it off and you have yourself a stove top pot of rice.

Optional: to make yellow rice, add 1-2 packets of Sazón completo (or whatever is equivalent), stir until the rice turns colored; repeat the process. There's even more advanced versions of it such as Moro (rice with cooked with beans not separate).

An easy mexican rice is

saute some garlic and onions
add rice and stir until brown
add tomato sauce stir (you can stir in some corn too if you like)
add water
cover.

Also keep in mind the 2:1 rule to keep it from being to dry or too moist.

Nice.

It's got some like logic board in it and can tell if the rice is cooked right based off of the moisture or something inside... I don't know.

I mostly use it for white rice. It cooks the best white rice I've ever had.

It is on steam though, so the always on DRM is still going to apply. That and not being able to use the same base game files on another steam account on the same computer like you can play a single game on multiple accounts on the same console and no same PC/splitscreen co-op are the reasons why I'm not that big of a fan of Steam.

Nice Jipan. Any specific brand of Sazon that you use?

Oh, and what ethnicity? (if you don't mind me asking) Im Hispanic too.

You are? I would have never guessed that. You look a little bit like Ed Helms.

I think my hints might have given it away; my mother has this old Dominican cook book in the kitchen. So I'm mostly Dominican mixed just a little bit of Cuban (mother's half Dominican, half Cuban, father's full Dominican). Right now I'm using the Knorr one with achiote and cilantro.

A rice cooker that cooks the perfect rice; go figure. White rice gets tiring after a white so that's why I like to switch it up.
