I like most of the action BB, but man, his breif skirmish with Scarecrow (the one in Arkham) was pretty bad.
About the dialouge though, I thought Gordon's monologue at the end was a bigger offense than anything in Batman Begins. It was literally "this was the point unless you weren't paying attention." A lot of Alfred's dialogue is excess as well, but Caine is so awesome that I didn't mind.
I love both movies.

I'm thinking 3 years before they officially decide to put another into production, 1 year to get a screenplay locked in and a director to helm it found. 6 months to get casting tied up. Then 1 year from pre-to-post production and release.

Guy has been on the Dark Knight Rises train all Summer....I think he's a bit too optimistic though he's usually not too far off the mark with his predictions when I do check
Probably my fault for using the word projection. Its just their prediction at this point, though their reasoning makes sense to me. Biggest factor in its favor against the Avenger is TDKR will have a substantial edge in midnight gross.

Picked up the soundtrack, I'm really happy the titles are vague and generic. Nothing worse then the need to avoid track listings!

Can't people just be happy that two movies of which one I know is great and the other I suspect is also great are doing great. I mean they pump a ton of money into the economy, both directly and indirectly with a big theatrical run, everyone wins.

Not a lot of 'bat man' in the movie is not terrible. After all, the best Spider-Man didn't have a lot of Spidey in it. That's what made it good.
