Really? Surely they know what a big audience they'll have opening weekend and not do something as spectacularly stupid as that. With TDKR, they still had the good will of TDK to ride off of, but with Man of Steel people will probably think it's in the same continuity as the Superman Returns film, which is a mindset WB can't afford to have exist.

He means online. It should be in theaters this weekend.

Solo's plan is to trash TDKR so he can hype Skyfall to hell

That's alright. I'm jumping on the Skyfall hype train as soon as I see this. Think it's the only other movie I'm super hyped for the rest of this year. I can only handle 10 year old on Christmas eve levels of excitement for one movie at a time, though.

are we back to believing the movie is good or a bomb? Its a roller coaster of a ride to Friday.

For me i cannot possibly see how it could be a dissapointment, but thats taking into account that despite loving BB and TDK i chose to accept instead of critique alot of the corny and badly written elements. It seems the people who literally cant do this have had a rude awakening with the hype surrounding the film, i feel bad for those people.

I always knew he was sensitive to violence, especially against women (I am myself to a degree), but I thought those kind of criticisms were reserved for the like of I Spit on Your Grave or Human Centipede.
No, Friday the 13th used to inspire stupid rants from him too.

Jesus, I can't believe I live in a world where Roger Ebert thinks Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a better movie than The Raid.
Afuckingmen!

Besides Jackie Chan Ebert doesn't like martial arts and seems to greatly dislike it.

Please god let this movie be the greatest thing ever. TDK>Batman Begins.

According to Fandango, domestic box office online ticket sales for Warner Bros’ and Legendary Pictures’ The Dark Knight Rises currently represents 91% of Thursday’s ticket sales. MovieTickets pegged their number at 87.5% for Wednesday. Earlier this week, Fandango surveyed the pic’s ticket-buyers and discovered that: 97% said the darker tone made them more interested in seeing the movie, 89% claimed the new villain Bane made them excited to see the film, 72% consider themselves fans of director Christopher Nolan, 62% said they’re excited by the fact that more than an hour of the film was shot in IMAX, and 58% said that Christian Bale was the actor they most preferred as Batman.

RISE!

There's an UltraAVX theatre 10 mins from my house in Richmond Hill so I decided on that vs IMAX.

First UltraAVX experience as well.

9 hourssssss

Totally - I remember the wife and I got in line 3 hours early for TDK IMAX just to make sure we weren't sitting in the front row.

All movies should have reserved seating.

I'm going on a Tuesday at 7pm just so I dont have to wait 3 hours early for IMAX this weekend. The price I pay for not having reserved seating. Hopefully waiting in line for an hour or so will be enough.

Exactly. It's one of the reason why I don't want to watch the movie today (BUT WANT TO! UGH!) as all the good reserved seats are gone. I don't want to wait 2 hours in line to watch a 3 hour movie when I have work at 7am. I rather sleep the whole day, walk in at 12, be in bed at 3 and wake up at 6.

*sigh*
