And for those wondering why she slowed up at the end, it's because it was a heat race. The top 2 or 3 get into the finals, where she'd go all out. Watch at the Olympics the early heats in the track events and you'll see the top competitors ease up at the end to conserve energy for the final race.

the idea of "trying too hard" and "obviously posing for the camera" or whatever is just laughable. Girl is probably at the most important moment of her life, all she's thinking about is winning that fuckin race. She's just happy, and it's the kind of perky girl that reacts like that to excitement and being anxious. It's a stretch excercise, evidently doing that little work-out is her thing since she apparently always does it and look at the results.

I think she is posing for the camera, but I don't have a problem with it. Many athletes are showoffs and extremely confident. It's not uncommon for one to have the confidence to win and look good doing it.

Her presence stands out and I believe the rest of the girls are aware of that. And for some reason I think it also has a lot to do with her winning the sprint. She is clearly like the alpha female among the others.
