Oh yeah, that Scarecrow cameo really bothered me and felt 100% out of place. If you're going to have him come back, give him something to do, and don't turn an excellent villain into some useless joke. Scarecrow should have been in that prison (as punishment by Bane for not succeeding with the League of Shadows).

The vision doesn't say it outright, but it does make him think that the child, which he already thought was Bane, was also his son.
Prior to that, he just thought the kid was Bane, nothing more. He knew that Bane was in the League, and that he was "born" in the dark, the pit. Once his mind figures out Ras was the mercenary, the rest falls into place for him, or so he thinks.

How was Batman able to walk at the end? We saw earlier he had no cartilage in his leg and needed that mechanical brace to walk. Are we to believe the prison doctor with some morphine and a rope managed to fix not only his broken back, but the leg that a modern hospital couldn't fix?

I totally suspected her during the movie, and then they relieved that Ra's Al Ghul had a child, and yet I somehow didn't put two and two together.
Subtle? I thought they were dragging that out. I knew who she really was as soon as she spoke. I thought they were going to drop the charade as soon as Bane said that her taking control of Wayne Enterprises was according to plan, but then they kept dragging it out.

Bruce should hae gained like 60 lbs by the time TDKR rolled around. Then hes like "Fuck I can't fit into the Batsuit, Alfred." So then Batman has to get lypo and suck the fat out. But its all for not cuz his muscles have atrophied. Bruce dies from passing out on the Batcycle.
I don't really like how they didn't explain how he got from India to Gotham when the US army and the League had sealed it off from the outside world. He had no money and no idea where he was in the world.

There are others in here who thought it was completely out of left field. On my initial viewing I suspected she was up to something but like LakeEarth had dismissed my suspicions to the point that I was definitely caught off guard by the stab in the back. I believe the words "That bitch..." escaped my lips.
The whole pit thing was weird all around. Bane breaks Batman's back then carries him all the way to India to put him in a pit, then Batman climbs out and gets all the way back to Gotham somehow.
That plus the whole "jump" that only Talia and Batman could pull off are things that stand out as quite the stretch compared to the other already implausible but more reasonable parts of the movie.

Spoiling yourself before the movie and then acting holier than thou when you know spoilers has to be one of the more droll things I've read in this thread.
Batman Begins and The Dark Knight didn't IIRC so I don't know if The Dark Knight Rises will have a longer cut.

You're clapping at what you enjoyed seeing. Other audience members might not have enjoyed it in the middle of the movie as much as you, so all you're doing is interrupting their viewing for them.
If JGL had entered the Bat cave and the automatic defenses came on and riddled him with bullets, I wouldn't have clapped despite my elation, because it would have been inconsiderate. Clapping at the end of the film or as its about to start is fine. While the film is playing shut your fucking mouth and sit on your hands if you can't control them.
I hope so. Folks have said Nolan doesn't do that but I'd like deleted scenes for all 3 movies added to a trilogy boxset
I don't know that Nolan has ever done a Director's Cut.
