I'm surprised that the game doesn't save your hero layout choice, then again, the brightness slider is still broken (had to go through the game files to fix it) guess that comes with the territory of being a beta 'n all.

You should join ausgaf from time to time and be bad with most of us, Unless the good players join and we get grouped with other good players. Random solves any issues there!

No. Because of the competetitive nature of the game, stuff like UI will never be fully customizible. Maybe only very minor stuff.

Druid and brew are pretty highly picked/banned much moreso than Lion
Druid is pretty common in mtw line-ups. Brew is picked more often in China and South-East Asia teams from what I can tell. But Keeper of the Light is new.

I don't really get why Lion isnt picked more often. 2 very solid CC's and good burst, all without items.
Anywho, if MTW doesnt end this soon I think Lycan and Solobear will roll over them.

He requires level for his skills to be really good, which he often doesnt get in the support role. Lion needs xp.

Sure, they won Gosuleague, but they have also lost 16 of their last 30 matches since Dreamhack, and have been eliminated from a bunch of other tourneys, some pretty early on (TD yesterday). Essentially they are playing .500 Dota, and seem to be breaking down before the International. Of course, there is still over a month til the International, so maybe they'll pull their shit together.
What league was this played in ? Can't find it.
The Premier League. I'm guessing they're not sponsored by dailymotion anymore because they seem to be back on twitch. Thank god.

It's kind of constantly a testing period for all these teams with the steady stream of new heroes popping out. The weird thing about mTw is that they play such a standard style that they don't really adapt. You see Darer pick new heroes in all 3 games, running weird strats and styles while mTw just does their thing all day everyday. No improvisation, no heroics, just by the book Dota. And I feel like they struggle against the teams with nonstandard styles.

Some of the changes to character's recommended items are just... odd. Dark Seer should get Arcane Boots over Phase Boots? Arcane boots are so useless late game for him. Also I don't get hood and pipe recommendations either. I guess since he's an initiator you want him to be able to survive, but you'd think that one would take sheepstick or Shiva's before a pipe.

Hope that even though there will be no more heroes until after TI2, they continue to slip out portraits and texture/models in the patch files.

Arcane Boots are recommended because DS has very expensive abilities, and his mana pool isn't very high. You can also dissemble the boots if you go for Bloodstone. Hood and Pipe are amazing, they give HP regen and mana resistance. A hood is way cheaper than a sheepstick, it gives a lot of survivability. Plus Dark Seer can farm super easy.
Blink Dagger is great on Shaman when your team lacks (or wants more) initiation. Another great item for Shaman is BKB.

Why haven't teams started to ban Tinker against Na'Vi? Every time they pick him, Dendi singlehandedly annihilates the entire other team.
What happened? Right as I'm about to unpause I see the chat going crazy spamming OPA DENDI
Those are all standard item choices.
Soul ring and then rush pipe is the only way to play dark seer.
Just kidding, but it's so good to get that early pipe for your team.

He just constantly pummels the other team in teamfights. What happened earlier was porting in after a fight when 4 of Darer were low and killing all 4 singlehandedly with march and Shiva's.

I unlocked 2 stupid tide hammers last night. I wonder if I can ditch those and csgo for 4 or 5 keys.
I attempted to play nyx last night as well, Didn't go so well. I think at this stage I will sorta stick with SK and Axe which seem to be what I mostly know at the moment. I still need to work on range (units) in Dota. I keep thinking X spell should have reached when it clearly shouldn't. Such as burrowstrike.
