I don't know anything about 3d modeling, but for the drawing, if you draw a lot (and it looks you are passionate about that), then why not? When we were in high school, a friend of mine decided to study architecture. To do so, she had to pass an entrance drawing exam on the university. She started her drawing lessons on summer, before the last year of high school, and of course she passed
That's strange. I can understand asking about religion, because there are religious practices that could affect your job (e.g. Shabbat for Jews). But why would anybody want to know your sexual orientation? It's not like you will be flirting with clients (right?).
They obv know gays are more out going and need more of them people.

I think its because they want to hire minorities. Some places in Canada tend to hire from minority pool because it looks good and I think it might even be government mandated that a certain percentage of their workforce have to be.
Alright, well I'm going to talk to an advisor at the college to ask what they look for in a portfolio. Hopefully it isn't something super crazy. I'm also going to get a hair cut. What's a sexy hair cut? Post sexy pics people!

I would move to the US but I'm not sure how to even get started. Plus, education where I live is significantly cheaper than anything in the US. I might move after education because I want to get into game development (why I'm getting into 3D modeling/animation and computer science). I'm just kind of worried about my father. He'd be getting old once my education is over and I'm worried he'll be lonely. My brother is moving to the states permanently after finishing school next spring (California ironically) so my dad will be living here alone and he has no friends. As much as he hates me (and I dislike him) I'm not such a cold hearted asshole where I can leave him there alone waiting to die.

It sucked to leave my dad as he is also alone but I still talk to him regularly on the phone and that helps. Maybe after you get the education in Canada you can move down south near your brother? Don't worry bout it now, as thats probably a ways off.
You also won't have the same heavy load of debt that most docs graduate with.
But seriously.. I can empathize. Dad wanted me to be an engineer, and I got offered a hefty engineering scholarship, so I started in chemical engineering. After the first year, I was getting As & Bs, but I was bored to tears. But I was loooving my political science classes; PolySci was going to be my minor.
Sorry for the life story; I'm very "talkative" tonight for some reason. Vet tech school sounds like a very, very solid move. It takes a special person with a big heart to handle that kind of work, and a good vet tech is worth his/her weight in gold. Congrats!

Thankfully, Dad chilled-out as he got older. He started taking everything easier, including the whole gay thing.
When he learned that my long-time "best friend" (a Mississippi military/country boy with talent for mechanical/carpentry work & a big firearms collection) was actually my other half, he was surprisingly cool with it. To him, he'd gained another son, and that was a pretty big bonus in his book. He'd tell me all the time growing-up, "Tommy - don't be in a rush to get married. Women are often trouble! And they're expensive!" But I was still worried about coming out to him. After all those years of worrying, it ended-up being cool, haha..
