Dead Trigger is now a freemium :lol

Anyone who can play FPS on touch controls should definitely check this out now! I don't regret spending $1 on it at all, I even spent a buck on gold and cash to open it up a bit and for the grand total of $3 it's by far the best mobile zombie shooter out by miles imo.

Knights of the Round Cable looks like it could be pretty fun. Anyone play it? I'll have to see what's coming tonight.

Edit: also tempted to grab The Blocks Cometh. Swore I already had it.

Any word on when Street Fighter x Tekken is supposed to come out so I can buy it, then buy SFxT Volt when it also comes out?

Bish loves my games!
Just downloaded this. It's uninspired but the graphics are pretty damn good for a mobile game.

I've been having a blast with this. First FPS I've really enjoyed on the iPad.

Dat chaingun!

Edit: Oooh new update. With new levels, zombies, weapons and other stuff! Yay!

Woot just beat 10m in about 4:40.

Awesome game, hopefully he adds more content like more upgrade rooms and a bigger score goal

There was an interview with the guy that made it on TA and he's definitely planning content updates and possibly a sequel

Just finished FFT (for the first time). Not sure what the iPhone version includes. Is there any post-game stuff for this version?

I just noticed that Megatroid is out on the U.S. app store and, true to it's word, it feels very much like a combination of Megaman and Metroid.

It's got really tight controls and unlike a lot of these types of games, wall-sliding is very easy. It even has separate control schemes for iPhone and iPad. I only wish I could customize the near-perfect button placement. I'd kill to have just an eighth of an inch between the jump and shoot buttons.

Still, it's free and while you can basically buy epic weapons and armor via iAP, the shop you can buy crap from using money you earn is cool too and refreshes every 10 minutes.

Seems like a damn fine iOS platformer action game so far after about an hour or so.

I'm also still loving the hell out of Dead Trigger. It can get pretty choppy on the iPod Touch 4g, but I can tell that it's a game I'll definitely keep around. I'll probably buy some gold, and I very rarely make use of iAP.

Overall it's been a mighty fine time to be an iOS games of late.

Gameloft are releasing some kind of Pokémon world building freemium thing tonight. I know it's going to be the worst game ever with 14 different premium currencies and 98 in-app purchases before you're allowed your first monster, but still, I'm interested.

EDIT: Freemium, Matt, you idiot.

What abiut the name lol? Whats it called?

64GB is enough they said. You can put all the games you want on it they said.

EDIT: Quoted because the pic was massive.

It's never going to be enough no matter how big when you have a lot of games over 1GB. You need to be smart and just have the big size games on the system that you play regularly and just store the rest in Itunes.

I filled up a 32GB iPad in a few months and upgraded to a 64GB. I've still got 10GB spare but I'm quite brutal to delete free games that I don't play. You've got to keep up with the device housekeeping.

but...but... I don't want to delete games, WHAT IF I WANT TO PLAY THEM AGAIN. :( But yeah, I deleted IB1 and will have to delete some others that I've finished, but the problem is that my backlog is so big that I have hardly any finished games... hrng.

Re-download them?

I was being extremely sarcastic, sorry :p I know I SHOULD delete and re-download, but... I... just can't part with them. It's a bad habit.

Ah, right, just thought you might be one of those 'didn't know I could re-download it!' chaps.

I have to juggle my storage. I have a 32gb and approximately 3x that in apps. One day I'll make serious inroads into my backlog. One day.

... Damnit. Your comment made me look up how much I've posted in here to show you I'm not THAT new, and... it's... uh... slightly embarassing:

iPad is the new Amiga, me so happy.

Only issue is the controls, iPads are too big to hold like that, assume you can move them...

Edit: iCade! hope that iCade BT control pad comes out soon...

Damn, Temple Run got a Retina update, I'll have to check this when I get home.

Kairosoft's Dungeon Village got a Universal update.
lol at the changelog: "minor bug fixes".

I wish more of their games got universal + game center support. I know a lot of people don't care for achievements but they add nice milestones that make sense in this kind of games.
