Not impossible but unlikely, coming from a console magazine. The German reviewer says that the occasional screen tearing or blurred texture does not deter from an awesome game experience.
For some reason I think the German video is taken from the PC version.
They say its 2% better than their 91% review of Darksdiers 1.We need to wait for some reliable western reviews [gametrailers, edge, giantbomb].

There are text prompts and very tiny fonts in places. Not impossible but unlikely, coming from a console magazine.
It better not have tearing after a dev has gone on record itt saying that both console versions are v-synced.
I'll never buy a vigil product if it turns out they were lying.
what is this app and where can i get it?
My local iTunes store does not have the app. I was disappointed, I want all the loot I can get in this game.I think it's on IOS only, darksiders soul harvest, basically you just log in and find yourself on a map(your local google map) then every 10 minutes you just harvest souls around you. It's pretty simple but if you collect enough you unlock some backgrounds, a game guide, a free comic and the final prize is a unique hammer for the game. Right now the community is working to unlock the final prize.

The rewards system for progressing in Darksiders 1 is definitely one of the best in any game, if not the best IMO.
Throughout the game, you got several new basic mechanics that improved how you interacted with the world and made you more powerful -- it was one of the VERY few systems that made me think about how incredible the incentives are.
Well, up until you got the teleport mechanic or whatever it is -- it seems a lot of people didn't like that.
However, I hope Darksiders 2 was designed with a similar system in mind.
I don't like this tearing talk. Somebody MAYBE doesn't actually understand what tearing is?
Portal says hi.Not a single game [that I know of] does that.
Portal says hi.
Yeah, I was just joking with that Portal reference anyhow. Not in a combat environment where enemies are moving.
Anyone who saw original x360 version of Darksiders KNOWS what tearing is. Look few seconds of this part of german review, and you will notice it also.

I really liked teleport, but I was bummerd it could be only used in puzzle sequences. I would have loved to use portals in combat environments. Not a single game [that I know of] does that.

i am mega bummed, my phone broke so i had to cancel my preorder of this, luckily my bro buys this but i feel bad about not buying my own copy cause i really want to see darksiders 3 on next gen.
Who needs a phone? You'd want to shut it down to play Darksiders 2 anyway.
I gotta say though, after looking at some segments from that video. PC version sure does blow away the 360 version x.x/
WiiU is not the second coming of Jesus. It's just a console. The Wii U version should AT LEAST run better, right?
The Wii U version should AT LEAST run better, right?
The Wii U version should AT LEAST run better, right?
Mass Effect 3 on Wii U apparently runs at 60fps, so yes, game will most probably run better.
why would you think that?
I actually didn't mind it. It was a bit too automatic, but not quite as automatic as something like Uncharted or Assassin's Creed. It was a nicely relaxing game, it's nice to have those sometimes. That was terrible, I don't think he wants or likes that.

Well, good news is, the tearing was fixed in the first Darksiders, nothing says it can't be in 2.
The PS3 version didn't have tearing, though, let's hope it's the same here.
I don't think they will let this happen again, I mean the tearing of the 360 version of the first was fixed what maybe a week after launch, I remember because I stopped playing it because of that.
Is there a longer version of the Death salvation CG trailer?
Discs are already printing. Maybe a Day 1 patch?
The tearing and the unlocked frame-rate in the first game was horrible, I also stopped playing and waited for the patch to come out.
Now about the tearing in DS2, at this point the whole thing "no it hasn't" "yes it has" got kinda ridiculous..I guess I'll simply wait for impressions on the 360 version from US Gaf who will get the game one week earlier and then react accordingly - if the 360 version has for some reason a problem with tearing I'll probably cancel the 360 pre-order and instead get the PS3 version if it's any better.
Magic points don't recover over time? Well, that makes going Necromancer pointless.
