His ult's pretty good in team fights. Go invis, wait for enemy team to arrive, ult, use refresher if u have it, then ult again...you'll even stay invisible during all of it.
That said, i haven't won with him yet ;-)

Yet I beliebe that he's handicapped version of tidehunter, even though I love this hero. Guise somewhat decent early game to hide from surprise ganks, but no one really use it past laning phase to screw around (we've got farm to do!). His nuke has pathetically low range compared to Tide's Gush, and Ultimate... Well, 150 damage for an ultimate at lvl 6 is laughable. Add to this the fact that you're not disabled per se, you can still cast through it, and you'll get the idea why Tree is not a viable pick at all.

I usually pump points into aura, get mek if team doesn't have a mek carrier, aim for refresher orb. Invis is wasted in pubs, most won't take advantage of it. I put one point in at most early to prevent kills.

You can turn BKB on after Overgrowth being used and will be just fine.
so they don't have bkb on and get stunned by other stuff. LOL

GL coordinating the whole team of randoms to do that. We could argue to eternity about hypothetical situation on the battlefield, but the fact remains the same: Ravage > Overgrowth.
Arcanes/Necro/Mek are pretty much core, can substitute in Soul Ring/Pipe. Mek and Necro is very strong for side solo and he can start keeping pushes going on indefinitely without losing creeps by timing his leech seeds and mek usage right. Don't waste money getting refresher, it is not worth it, in that item tier get a shiva's guard.
In terms of playstyle; max passive first, nuke second, invis third, ult whenever its available but initial skill order should be something like eweqwre.
He's best in either an agressive dual lane as support or a side solo. Dual lanes just stack slows and use his ult to keep people from getting away. Side solo the goal is for the passive to help your other lanes win their lanes harder, so don't play that role unless your other lanes are strong.
Besides that stuff and just normal playing well, the only thing you really need to do is try to make sure you always have your seed nuke going off in the middle of your allies. The healing aspect of it is much more important than the nuke. If you can get it off on the right people you can keep your team in the fight much longer than they should be.
Don't try to play Treant like he's Tidehunter, that just leads to an inevitable loss. Play him like a necrolyte, he just makes it really annoying for you to kill his team and slowly deals out damage to the enemy.

NS is easy to play but there's a huge pressure to gank well the first two nights.. Otherwise he's difficult to play later on.

Looking at those stats, it's kind of insane to see how little people play Pugna as well. Despite his low HP he's a face melter, and a casters worst nightmare. The last 3 games I've played with him have resulted in 2-3:1 K/D ratios, my best being 14/3. The mixture of his nether ward and Agha scepter upgraded lifesteal ult (Bringing his CD down to 0) is nothing short of an insane combo towards end game.
On a side note, do Gaffers talk about the DOTA 2 workshop here? Just wanted to plug a bow I did for Drow recently with a good friend, seems to be doing well! Look forward to making more items.

Check out Logitech, Steelseries, Zowie evo, Corsair M60, and the Deathadder as well. All of these have at least decent build quality and good sensors. Find one that will fit your hand, and grip style best.
Stay away from the rest of the Razer line besides DA since they use the shitty PTE sensor, which has a high failure rate, and that legendary Razer build quality

For me, it doesn't compare to the wc3 dwarf rifleman.
He doesn't sound like a cool (cliche) sniper, he sounds like a crazy old dude that says wierd shit, similar to gyro but not half as funny. riflemen>flint>sniper>caitlyn (possibly one of the worst va lines for a dota hero).

Everyone doing what ever they wanted. Don't think all 5 of us were ever together. Siren was ulting when ever it was up even if it meant nothing. Leshrac fed constantly, our TA was dropping traps for wards which was kinda nice, but kept getting caught out. First time playing Enigma was kinda fun, but Disrupter seems to counter him pretty hard. There was a couple of times were landing my ulti I could see the potential of Enigma, but you need some group coordination for him to really shine.

There is also a tree you can cut down from the Scourge side of mid that lets you buy stuff without leaving the lane.
