They probably just don't want to make the game different for Germany. From that angle, it's actually understandable. It's kinda dumb though that they filmed a swastika and later realized the issue with it. Oh well.

No what's dumb is that the NCAA doesn't want its members to wear white hooded robes to meetings or that PETA doesn't allow dog fighting on its organization's premises.

I had to stop watching the Deponia quick look because I found the voice work so annoying.
 
So, are we getting a Sound Shapes Quick Look? There's nothing on the schedule for it, and they are pretty short-handed this week. It seems like something Jeff would be into though.
 
this depoina quick look is painful, i'm not sure i can actually finish listening to it. the voice acting is bad enough but the forced writing of the goofiness/sassyness of the characters is unbearable. the main character just seems like a total dick

I've noticed this in both Unwritten Tales (references, everywhere) and Whispered World (I wanted to kill Cedric for his voice acting and obnoxious mopey reactions to everything). The writers are trying way too hard to be funny or witty. You might think it's a German thing, but the Runaway series tries to hammer it into your head too, only there it's often quite offensive at the same time, but that series is generally pretty bad.

That was brilliant, right from the get go. As for the game, looks rough. music at the start got really annoying too - 'epic' and aimless.

Definitely. It's a shame to waste such nice art when the scripts are so cringe-worthy.

Just finished the unwritten tales QL, and the writing and acting practically sold me. Unless the quality dives beyond what was shown, I was impressed. Was nodding with Jeff and vinny as I laughed on cue with them at the game in that QL.

Deponia though, only watched a few minutes and wasn't too keen on what I saw.

Yeah, a significant chunk of the bombcast was spent on it this week. No further coverage is needed.
 
Man, the Transformers Quick Look did partly annoy me with the shear amount of hopping around menus and going into that debug/cheats menu they had. But the gameplay itself did impress me, more so then expected. It looks like they fixed most of my complaints I had with the first game. It didn't impress me enough to warrent me getting it full price, but it is on my rader for perhaps the winter sale.

The amount of changes is actually pretty damn large. They've focused on a bunch of minor cosmetic stuff, but it adds up to be a big overhaul.

But how much of the game do they have to play again to see the new stuff? It's not like a total remake or anything. P4A at least is a different kind of game, and it's based around a new story. This is still the same case from before.
