If any mode needed swap it was SD. Now there's no reason to not just all random and swap picks with teammates.
If valve only implemented swap in SD, maybe in RD/CM too, then that would have been great. Not sure why AP has it too be honest. There should be risk/reward to randoming your hero but now the risk is mitigated a lot because of swaps.
So is this new vo? If so, best part of the patch.- Hero ban sounds are now enabled when spectating Captain's Mode.
So how much is swap going to ding you?
Damn, random erry game?Swap has zero penalties
Swap has zero penalties
So what if I random in AP, swap for whatever character I want, and then still keep the extra 250?
If any mode needed swap it was SD. Now there's no reason to not just all random and swap picks with teammates.
You would have to be in a party with somebody else who could pick the character you wanted and be willing to trade.
Swap in SD just makes it RD with a smaller hero pool... I understand the need for it, but I always thought the whole point of SD is that you pick from what you're given whether you like it or not.
Witch Doctor is still an awful hero, but I learned after the game where I randomed him that you have to stand still to channel Death Ward >_>
That's how channeling works <_< Witch Doctor is not awful.
Is the patch out? My DOTA hasn't updated yet.
- Fixed a bug in Wearable Importing when using SMD files (fixes items not attaching correctly to the hero model)
They changed the mace. And it's vintage.
I remember when WD and VS were considered the two best supports in the game. Another time when Alchemist, Medusa, and Drow Ranger were the best carries in the game. Man how the times change.
The replaced item.
That Vintage timebreaker is going to be a rare item worth tons of keys on the steam market.
Fancy Geomancy!

Add him now, valve.
If you random in AP and swap with someone that straight up picked, which player keeps the extra money from randoming?
