Fuck. Had to quit out of a game like 5 minutes in since the internet decided to be shitty all of a sudden. Suupppper lag. And I was playing Leshrac too, so any lag makes him unplayable with his stun.

I bought over 30, and I know for a fact OrangeCaramel from K Pop gaf bought like 37 lol. So probably a shit load of keys.

Right now he's on a bit that has strings about tournament drops. I'm especially excited (more than I was) now for The International, as they'll almost certainly premiere there first, and then maybe move on to other venues.

Also - shoutout here, but I'm looking for the Vintage Timewalker. Have some decent stuff and inventory posted in the trading thread. Check there if interested.

You might get a small advantage early but ultimately I don't think it's game-deciding. And the other team can do the same thing with their important heroes if they wanted to as well.
 
Random gold is tied to the player. Items transfer over when heroes are swapped.
 
I just bought 4 keys and gave a deathwielder for a Vintage Time Breaker.

These things are going to pure gold if super limited items are any indication from TF2.

So you are saying you can do something like, Buy 400g items on hero -> swap -> next person buys 400g items on hero, and you can do dumb stuff like make it so Ursa starts with a Vlads?

When you random you start with 800ish gold. so you can random, then swap heroes to someone you want and still start with the 800. It stays with the player not the hero.

No, I mean if you buy two branches and then swap your hero, the hero you get has your two branches.

Basically, inventory is not tied to the hero but the player.

I just like making topics on the dev boards about bugs. I am the same guy who cross checked 50k line files to find inacresies with hero stats and damage vaules, finding over 100 errors, from large things like most turn rates being wrong and a bunch of skills not giving vision right, to small things like Alchimist's stun doing more damage to him then the target if he didn't throw it.
 
a lot of people struggling with this swap concept lol.

it's really quite simple; two people who have heroes can swap them. no gold involved

You clearly weren't reading the conversation. People were talking about what happens to the extra gold if someone randoms a hero and then swaps with someone (who may or may not have also randomed a hero.) Not just the mechanic of swapping itself.
 
Just played the best game. My friend and I both randomed- I got lifestealer and he got spirit breaker. The infest/charge combo is monstrous! We won 20-68 I think.
 
I had this very, very infuriating game where three team members would do nothing but farm for the whole match. We were being attacked? Doesn't matter, let's farm! There was a team fight near by? Doesn't matter, let's farm! Did we want to push a tower? Doesn't matter, let's farm. Two of them ended the game with level 25, the other 22. We lost terribly once the other two (support characters) started to be not enough to keep the whole rival team under control.
 
rofl and here I was absolutely furious the day I got 4 timebreakers in a row from my sithil chests...

Anyone had Dota 2 crashing on them recently? It'll just freeze up, can't alt-tab can't alt ctrl del, but strangely I can still hear/talk to my friends on voice chat.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Also where are you all trading stuff?
 
Does anyone else have issues when you right click on a creep/enemy and your hero simply walks up to them instead?

In before make sure you're clicking on the actual enemies.
