Eh, I'm not sure how valid that strategy really is. The Lycan wasn't very good and didn't adapt at all. You'd think he'd go "Hey, I'm getting harassed out of my jungle, maybe I should go somewhere else, or have someone help gank this BH."
Poorly, since TA cant easily get away from sentries or dust and she needs more farm than BH to be effective.
lol I remember when I was NP and PuppetYuber was on the other team as Veno and this was a funhouse game, and I knew off the bat that he would try to shadow me in the jungle, so I jungled in the other teams jungle, took him awhile to find me and by then I was higher level and just tp'd out and as usual Puppetyuber got dumpstered and I proceeded to make a Dagon for this low level Veno.
The point is you don't always have to jungle, you can go the enemies or even lane early on.

Funnily enough I was BH in that game and although he got his early game farm most of the late game kills that we managed to eeke out were (probably) because I popped a track on him and all five of us focused exclusively on him. Of course this was in teamfights, so as soon as he went down the rest of their team destroyed our ragged band of survivors.

Haha, so I finally played enough games of TA and Anti-Mage I guess, and both of those it ranks me pretty high (above 4.5 bars) on the little graph thing. Everything else hovers around 3 or lower. Though it seems to be buggy since it has me recorded for Zeus, saying I'm 4 and 1, but I know I've only played him once in Dota 2 (though I did play him a bit more in WC3 Dota).
My AM isn't even that good.
And on an unrelated note, I don't think I've ever lost a game of Random Draft. Certainly far higher winning rate than other modes, though I haven't played nearly as much RD either.

True, I didn't post that as the best strategy to counter Lycan, just a possiblity. But it's really easy to mess with Lycan's jungle, and it pays out to do it.
You can get wards and block his camps, have a trilane to keep harassing him, or whatever works for you, point is don't let Lycan farm freely and even worse is letting him have a free Roshan.

Morph isn't so bad, but I'm still not exactly sure how to make the best use of replicate. I get that you're supposed to it it to farm elsewhere/escape, but I'm not sure how you actually get that to work in practice.

Well for one, it just doesn't last very long at level 1, and it has a (decently) long cooldown. So early on I'm not sure how much use you can really make of it unless you pop it before fighting and use it as an escape if things go poorly.
Unless you just don't bother until it's level 2 or 3.
I suppose another use would be to have it as an escape while farming in enemy territory or in the dark.

I`m so sick of people who think nature's prophet's job is to throw his life away to get that one building down. Had two games where furion fed the other team like half their kills. By the time they were done "pushing" and teleporting right into ganks the other team was fed to high hell and we could do nothing. In one of the games we even got early rax, but who would've thunk it, an all carry team and a 0-18 furion is a one sided game.

There's no penalty in dota for winning quickly. Unless you're saying silencer would've come back from having no boots 10 min in.

I think there was more going on in that game then lycan dying.
Two fun things to do involving LS.
One person is Spirit Breaker, LS hops in and you charge halfway across the map, LS explodes out of you and scares the living shit out of whoever you gank.
Or you go as Axe and someone else as Tiny, LS hops in Axe and Tiny throw you both into the other team.
Fun.

Throw + Cull is one of the funniest moves ever.
I definitely agree. the SB/LS combo is also really effective against global pushers like tinker or NP. Also immensely satisfying.

Yea. I just see you always playing on my friends list, I had no idea you have played that many games.
Dota 2 is starting to hurt me, I've lost like the last twenty games, all my performance bars for characters are 2.5 or less, (I thought it wasn't based on win/loss ratio? Even with characters I do well with (QoP) I'm still at 2) and the randoms I get on my team in pubs are terrible people who hate me for existing.
