Do you believe that "she might snitch" justifies murder? In the head of a hardened criminal it probably does, but as a decent human being you should not feel that way.

I feel like some of you Breaking Bad fans are disturbingly tolerant of Walt's behaviour. I mean this isn't like Dexter where he's killing murderers and rapists who escaped the reach of the law, this is a guy who kills to make a boat load of money.

She personally sent the guy that killed Mike's asian associate (Choi?) There were 11 other names on that list. In one fell swoop she would have killed more people than Walt and Jesse combined, and this wasn't a kill or be killed situation.

Walt has personally killed:

- Two drug dealers who were going to murder him.
- Two drug dealers who were going to kill Jesse.
- A kingpin who was going to kill him and his entire family.
- Two henchmen of said kingpin who were holding Jesse hostage ready to kill him.

Which of those was unjustified?

Dexter has also killed a handful of innocent people throughout the show, almost all of them by accident, but he has innocent blood on his hands.

I'll be honest, I didn't consider that part. I might need to rewatch episodes, but did Walt know she did that?

Haha, I'm no sociopath (I don't think), I was talking in a relative sense in the drug world where murdering people is sometimes necessary to keep the business going. A hardened criminal could see that Lydia deserves to die much more than an innocent eye witness (in this case, the kid). Lydia knew the risks and (assumingly) promised not rat anyone out or try to kill anyone ect ect. So in that sense, she "deserves" to die. In much more broad sense, it's a whole other debate on whether anyone truly "deserves" to die.

I meant what he cooked before Blue Sky was introduced. I found the part I was looking for in Episode 4 (Cancer Man). It's referring to Walt's first batch, the sample that Jesse gave Krazy 8, which was still white.

Hank: "We take it to the lab, they come back, they tell us it is the purest they've ever seen."
Gomez: "99.1%"
 
This weeks (last weeks?) episode was brilliant. The tense scenes with Lydia, the scene with Skyler asking Walt "been burying bodies?", to which he replies "robbing trains". I've grown to hate Walt but Cranston is such an amazing actor that I still enjoy watching him in scenes like that. The train robbing itself was a bit over the top, but nowhere near as bad as 'MAGNETS' from the first episode.

Then finally, that ending. I'm so glad I completely forgot about the kid by the end of the episode. I was expecting the episode to end there, and have the next one being about what to do with the kid, but nope. Bang, credits. I fucking love Breaking Bad.

So I just discovered that Laura Fraser (Lydia) played Door in Neverwhere.

I read the book, but I still haven't watched the TV series. I remember it being on Netflix for quite a while, but it appears to have disappeared.

I guess it shows that Walt's method allows him to net 99.1% consistently. Blue Sky had a slight workaround since they couldn't get a certain ingredient so easily due to state limits but Walt assured it was the same purity after being questioned by Tuco about its color.

Never got into Organic Chemistry enough to know so i wonder as well (given Tuco, Badger's reactions it might have helped though to be fair it could have just been a huge jump for them since they might be used to a certain purity range) .

I assume even a .1% is good enough in regards to the product.

I think you misread my post. I'm not personally expressing my opinion, but showing Walt's justifications. He wouldn't have shot the kid, but would surely go ahead with Lydia because she's more of a hazard.

Jesse and Walt will hit the fan this episode. However they handle the todd situation, they will try to handle it differently.

Leave Sky and Saul out of the big leagues where they can't hang acting wise.

I'm pretty sure Gilligan & co. won't end the season at a dull note. Second half of the season will most certainly start at the flash-forward scene from the premiere.

They HAVE to close this season with a bang though, something to hook people up for next year.
We know it won't be the flashforward, so it could be something like Skyler dying or Hank finding out something crucial.
 
I may be the only one that cant stand Walt this season, before I was rooting for him to succeed but now he is just a major douche and continues to play the role of an intimidator but I just dont see it and dont find him that intimidating physically.
 
I had a BB dream last night about this upcoming episode. I dreamed that Walt and Skylar were talking about the business whilst Marie was in the hallway unbeknownst to Walt and Sky and heard everything.....if this turns out to be true I am going to start keeping a dream journal....I may have superpowers.

I'm fairly certain that just means the writers are doing their job, and yeah Walt's an asshole but he's always been an asshole, its just that now with this season he's riding high from his victory over Gus.

I don't think he's supposed to be liked by now. He's gone into full-asshole mode finally.

Oh and why does he have to be physically intimidating? He was always a schemer, not a fighter.

Loyalty really is the key concept we need to take away from the show. If you're loyal, good things happen to you. Like Gale. And Victor. And Jesse. And Tuco's henchman. And Tuco's other henchman. And Combo. And Tyrus.
