Dios X was always the bigger man. Figuratively and literally. Despite all Champ's BS, he always kept his cool. Apology took way too long but I guess it's better late than never.

3-1 where he was on could have lost game #1 and #2 is dominating?

Game 3 Justin storm > chris Hawkeye.
Game 4 Chris G makes level 3 x-factor comback on Justin full team of Wolv/Storm/Akuma.

Game 1 went to Spencer for Justin vs low life wesker / half life Ryu.
Game 2 wesker/ryu vs x-factor level 3 spencer (not used).

Then you factor in the two previous tournament before that and Justin out placed Chris at ECT4, and beat him at CEO. Justin going Wolv/Storm/Akuma from the start would have been more interesting because Justin and Chris went 1-1 and both matches went down to solo characters no x-factor.

The only thing in Marvel that is undisputed is F. Champ is the best. He's beat everyone. Hell he even opened his home to everyone and invited them over so he can kick their ass.

Fanatiq convinced him that using "pelican" wouldn't be a good idea since it's tied to DiosX. DiosX seemed to be in the kind of position a kid who gets beat up at school is in when the bully's mom makes him apologize. Not happy about the situation, not over it, but giving in to pressure.

Nonsense. The damage is done. Champ has shown disrespect to the person. A man would never forgive that or forget. DiosX should have been the Achilles to F.Champ's Agamemnon.

Forward vs Fanatiq was an awesome set and probably my favorite of the night.
Forward vs Combofiend was just Forward kicking Combo's ass.

I don't see why does it matter that they played in the losers final, the point is the 2 best performing players should be at the grand finals and those 2 are Fchamp and Chris G, but that didn't happen obviously despite them having what was probably the best umvc3 match in the tournament (or at least top 8).

You can't say XXX is the best if there are still tournament winning players out there they haven't beat.

That's why in boxing and MMA there's a difference between champion and "undisputed champion." Don't forget even in a 1000+ man bracket, if you stay in winners the entire way you're not getting much more than 10+ matches. There's were a lot of matches that we will never see so that's why no one is ever consider undisputed champion in AE since there plenty of internationals guys we never see go toe to toe. You saw someone like Eita win SSK2012 and not make it out of pools, then you see someone like Xiaohai who out perform Eita at EVO but not SS2012. So who's better? You can't say 100%.

Thanks for stating the obvious I guess.

Spain only won against 7 teams out of 31 and yet they are the world champions, while it's true you can always play the "what if" game but the current tournament formats are the best of what we got right now and as so, Champ is the Marvel 3 world champion (as as Infiltration, MadKOF ...etc etc)

Holy shit did you even read my post? My original post was because I wanted to see if Champ was the undisputed Champ. Going into EVO Champ and Justin were the favorite. Since both of them had wins over Chris G at ECT4 (Champ), and CEO (Justin).

So it's kind of stupid that we didn't get to see them battle it out at EVO. And there's no way you can say Chris G was better than Justin going into EVO.

Dahbomb calculated all tournament statistics and posted in the Marvel OT. Go take a look for yourself Justin was ranked #1, and Chris was ranked #2.

However Champ had wins over Chris at ECT4, and the Big Two that quickly followed. So it was clearly those three at the top of the Marvel realm. And out of those three we saw every single match up except for one. Do I even need to state more?

I even took the time to bold everything if you want to TL:DR it. You said Chris and Champ are the two best performing, and you would be correct POST EVO. PRE EVO that wouldn't be the case.

When the top 8 was underway it was clear who the best 2 players were as Chris G started beating justin, flocker , combo etc with fchamp dominating the upper bracket, those two should've been the GF and that's my point not some dream match concept based on who played who in the past.

I can also see you are really emotionally invested in this argument, so you can take it, I also bolded some random words for you to have fun while reading.
