Is anyone able to view pictures or videos from a flash drive? For some reason, it's not reading mine and it was able too before the beta.

Ugh, now everything on the dashboard is in Swedish even though I have my console set to English. It's only on the dashboard too. Once I go into the mini guide or press settings for example, it will be in English.
EDIT: Haha, only some stuff is in Swedish. Two squares right next to each other might have two different languages. Way to go, MS.

It has been that way forever on the German dashboard.
Half of the stuff is in German and the rest in English if you set your console to that.
It is because of their stupid GPS tracking. Stuff is dumb as hell. Really bothers me. I would set my dash to German but since most games don't give the option to change the language in the menu, you will be stuck with the language your system is set to. Thing is I want to enjoy my games in English.

I was bored and "binged" pennywise. Turns out xbox music is already on the console. I was expecting it to be released later this year and in the US only. I can select every pennywise album or song to listen to but it only plays 30 seconds of each song. There is no purchase option. How do you use xbox music ?

At the moment and possible future too, to use Xbox Music you need to purchase a Zune Music Pass.

Right now, Xbox Music is basically just Zune Music rebranded. Other than more music available, I don't think they have announced any changes to the Zune service when it becomes Xbox Music. At least the existing Zune Pass subscriptions carry over, which is great since I have about five years remaining.

Just noticed this new dashboard has a qwerty keyboard when sending messages lol.
As long as you had it selected under your language. I'm guessing it's QWERTY by default, now.
Yeah it's qwerty by default now and it's really throwing me off. Over the last 5 years I've gotten pretty efficient at typing on the old keyboard with a controller so now having certain letters in new places is really onfusing. Like, it took me about 10 seconds to find "n" over in the bottom right corner. Kind of a weird problem, and I guess I'll relearn controller typing eventually, but I wish there was an option to go back to the old keyboard. Unless it's already there and I'm dumb and missed it.
Some flash support would be nice....otherwise whats the use in using IE?

That's not gonna happen. In case you haven't noticed, almost every browser that isn't on a PC doesn't support flash anymore. Sites that ignore this trend, and continue to use flash do so at their own peril.

I don't go to any flash enabled sites aside from the random you tube video here or there. If you search from the you tube app on 360, iPad, or iPhone you'll never encounter these videos. Giant Bomb, neogaf, pitchfork and a host of other regular sites I visit all work decent for me.

And yeah, the games tab is now after social for me too. They've also reworked the mini dash as well, slightly annoyed but it's much more refined and easy to use.
Loving this new update.

yeah so, fucked up problem I'm having.
My new 360 has a loud, buzzing DVD drive when it plays discs. Works fine, but I was going to send it in while under warranty.
But when I go to send it in, put in my console serial and all on the online form, it tells me since my console is in the beta dash I have to sign up for service through the connect dash or something. Absolutely will not let me schedule a repair.
I dont really see any place on the connect dash dealing with any kind of service. There was a generic contact form I sent explaining my issue, havent heard back yet.
TLDR, since my console is in the beta dash apparently I cant get it repaired under warranty, go figure.

Nothing official yet but there is a thread in forum #4 about what new changes were discovered.
*apparently you can hide your windows ID that is displayed at top right by going to profile menu>account security.
*Achievements page in the avatar menu went from green background to white background
*My Pins area changed as you can now move items to the front of the list

any of you guys with the beta that play rock band 3, it is being reported on the xbox forums that this update finally fixes the pro drums problem with the cymbals not showing up. so, all of the wireless music peripheral issues should now be resolved. i will test this myself tonight.
Am I the only one getting an error when trying to claim the key?

You could do this before but what has changed is that now this option is under the Y button and before it was in the "details" menu under X button.
