I'm still a bit weirded out by how he let his mate take his girlfriend to the movies. It's nice to have that much trust/confidence but if either party asked me if I was OK with that I'm pretty sure every alarm bell in my head would have gone off.

I feel a bit guilty in contributing in the derailment of this thread with the RawNut vs Houston posts and my awesome trolling skills above.

So I am just going to give you my most sincere opinion OP and say, salvage what you can from this: I would usually tell you to take the moral high ground and don't get involved with a woman with two children and an EX or even a present husband near by... If that is the case, maybe you should turn around and not look back. But if she is a single mom, with not much of an ex involved, maybe you could stay "friends" with her, via facebook sure, or tell her to text you once a month when she is free to go for a drink or coffee or whatever.

If it's just the kids that are involved, than you may be able to see her, date her here and there. But if her marriage is complicated with ex-husbands lurking around, (and 90% of the time they are) best to turn around and walk away and never look back. That is when you have to try hard and think with your brain instead of your dick, I know it's not easy, but you got to. Otherwise it can get very ugly, very fast. Go back to AC and try your luck again, you got nothing to lose but your load.

haha it actually worked out just fine. call was nice and she sounded as cute as i remember her. she sounded really concerned about making sure that we get to see each other, she just has a commitment with a friend this friday (then has kids weekend) but she is thinking about skipping out on her friend and seeing me. then she said maybe she can get a sitter for the weekend, if it comes to that. it was a good call!

Definitely not. She didn't really cancel, from the get-go she told me she was going to "see if she can get out of seeing her friend friday." Has been up front about it from the beginning.
