I was actually in the mood for a Outcast thread in the OT.

But I still like Outkast. I'm just not in the mood to reminisce about them now.
 
I still have fond memories with Speakerboxxx/The Love Below even though I'm well aware that it's not their best album. Between Flip Flop Rock, The Way You Move, and Roses I was set.

Anyone missing outkast, go get Big Boi's solo from 2010 (he has another one coming in November). It's the best outkast related release since ATLiens.
Fuck Andre Parachute Pants and Neon Vests 3000.

Red Velvet, unbelievable stuff. Every album really changes going forward, each great in their own way. Back when Big Boi started hardcore pushing Killer Mike it was pretty clear Andre and Big Boi weren't quite on the same page in which direction OutKast should be going. I liked Big Boi's solo album, but I definitely didn't think it was as good as the hype. I imagine they'll make at least one more album when all the dust settles.
 
Oh man, thread title fail.....anyways...I was a sophomore in high school and into east coast rap when southernplayalisticadillacmuzik came out, I remember thinking that I had never heard anything like that before in my life. I feel a special attachment to this group more than any other because I feel like they grew up along side me, maturing a little more with each album. And lyrically....unfuckwitable. Easily the best rap group ever IMO.

Sir Lucious Left Foot is amazing. It's good old Big Boi, the one we all know and love from every Outkast album. It's just missing Andre 3000.
 
Andre and big boi do go so well together. Really wish they'd do one more album before they officially call it quits.
