Ducksch out injured until next year

Spurs club statement.
A partnership with Real Madrid? Not too bad at all. You know where all future Real players who need to go out on loan will end up now
Or maybe it's similar to Arsenal's partnership with Barcelona.
Sulley Muntari turns 28 today! But we all know it's 40 on the pitch/Ghana!
And really, TheLucifer, I don't want to see Inter, Napoli or Roma finish in CL placesso you better step up! Literally and figuratively.or god forbid, higher
Just saw yesterday's highlights. Combined with the parts of the match seen yesterday, it's pretty clear that Allegri is still clueless on how to play without Ibra, even if we managed to do so when he got banned during the last two years. Just like that, it's clear that El Sha still need a lot of time, Bonera is terribad and we need another "prima punta" plus a Van Bommel substitute.
It was the first match of the year, fine. It was Pazzini's first match. As the Curva Sud said, let's wait and see for the end of August, then we'll talk. It's pretty clear that we aren't what we used to be, but I'm still convinced that in Italy only Juve is ahead of us. We could've lost yesterday match even with Thiago and Ibra (and we did so a lot of times in the last couple of years).
I'm not worried, season is still long and everyone will lose a couple of matches. We won't win the scudetto, but a Champions League spot is not out of our reach.
We could never pay Kaka's wage. Maybe if Sahin has a good season at Liverpool...
Lichtsteiner scored a perfectly good goal, Pirlo scored a perfectly good goal (as almost everyone has now conceded, having seen the freezeframe), and Juventus had 15 shots to Parma's 6 while retaining 63% possession and keeping a clean sheet.our opponent was robbed blind...
He's already flat out rejected a move to Spurs once. The chances of him suddenly changing his mind after spending a year at Liverpool is pretty slim. If he has a good season with us, he'll either stay at LFC or go back to Madrid, not to a London club on a permanent deal.

Shouldn't there be pics of SAF if he was in the stadium to watch Zouma play?
I've heard that one before.
The Dark Knight RisesJust found out Rooney's out for 2 months? So what happens when RVP inevitably breaks during that time period? #ChichaWelbFuture?

Apparently we've had bids rejected for Isco of Malaga and Willian from Shaktar. Hopefully we try for Dembele as well. Huddlestone on loan plus £10m ought to do it.
Farewell, Modders. You were a great player for us and deserve to play for a club like Real Madrid, we failed to match your talent with results on the pitch. At least the Clasicos will have a North London element now (Song/Fabregas v Modric).
Ok Spurs fans tell me I'm wrong... Luka Modric is the most overrated player in the prem... stats - 36 games in the prem last season, 4 goals 4 assists last season - and similar strike rate in previous seasons. And for the 4 goals he had 83 shots and 23 were on target... sure ability is not measured by strike rate but whenever Ive watched him he has done anything. He is worth less than 10m pounds in my book... we shall see if he lives up to his transfer fee in madrid and if he even gets on the park ahead of ozil or di maria as he probably won't be playing in Alonso/Khedira's role and he's not better than ronaldo.
If he's worth 37m then carroll is worth 70m and I'm not even a reds fan. There's a stack of players I would take ahead of modric in the prem arteta, kagawa, silva, toure, cabaye, fellaini. Hazard is twice the player he is.
and PS Man U should totally sell Berbatov rather than let him rot on the bench...
Ah, that sucks.Ducksch out injured until next year![]()

I think Modric had the some of the best stats for dribbles and key passes in the PL last season, certainly he was in the top 3. Players like Silva, Kagawa, etc might look more flashy but they play much further forward, they could not play in a deep midfield two like Modric does. The season before last Alex Ferguson said Modric was his player of the season. To say he's worth less than £10m reflects poorly on your understanding of football.
Ah, that sucks.
So if Lewandowski/Schieber got injured, the next in line would probably be Perisic/Reus. Klopp should probably test such formations without a real striker.
Because he's the hero United deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll bench him because he can take it. Because he's not our striker. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight.

He rejected a move away full-stop back when Real first tried to move him, not specifically to Spurs. We never wanted him as part of the deal and he didn't want to leave Madrid at the time (back in June/July). That was before Mourinho took the piss out of him by playing him at LB in pre-season.
If you were to judge a player just on his goal and assists stats then Iniesta wouldn't even be worth £5m. Yet he's widely regarded as the best midfielder on the planet.
Stats aren't everything in football and Modric is a very good footballer.
ok i shouldnt have wrote that - but whatever...
37m!
kekeke
Say whatever you like. If he has a good season with Liverpool, we may be a CL team. Keep that in mind.
I haven't seen him play in a long time.Modric is a great player, he has fantastic technical ability and passing range. Wish he would stay on the PL but oh well looks like tottenham are now reals feeder team

Of course, if Liverpool get CL and Spurs don't then we have no chance of getting him anyway. It's just not true to say he rejected a move to Spurs. He rejected any kind of move early in the summer and changed his mind in the last few weeks. Spurs only ever wanted cash for Modric.
It's being reported that we're going to offer 17 million for Carroll...................
wtf!
