It's being reported that we're going to offer 17 million for Carroll...................

wtf!

Wow...

Hope it's done before 31st August if true. Don't want £17 million sat there when we need another striker in fast.

To be fair, Carroll did well yesterday. Still don't buy that he has no future in this system.

*sniff*

For half a season they were a godly pairing.

Linked with Saints yesterday for £5m, not sure we really need another left back though.

Yeah he is not going, but he is really good, but I'm still not sure if he's made for football. Tore something in his leg more than a year ago, came back, first training, BAM, again. Now he is in recovery, but I have no clue when is going to play.

the question is why - newcastle got 5th with cisse and ba in a 4-5-1

They got 5th with absolutely unbelievable goals from Cisse, but he won't score like that again. Options are good, if they had been able to being Carroll on against Chelsea the other day they might have been able to get something, we saw how Chelsea shat themselves in the Cup final when he came on. Carroll is a useful back-up when you are playing superior teams.

With all the clubs wanting Luuk de Jong this summer, his brother is also awesome. Goal from saturday

Scored the most goals for us last year...

also if Arsenal do not sign a striker by Friday they are rather fucked imo.

Wenger just won't admit they need a striker stop looking at the midfield. You have played two relatively shit (they won't contend for the league) teams and haven't scored a goal

Sure its fortress stoke and sunderland (i am a fan of the black cats btw) are a lot improved over early last year but its not exactly City and Chelsea they drew with is it

also lulz media. AVB under huge pressure already

They already signed two strikers. They need time to bed in. Strikers take more time than other players to find their feet when changing leagues.

By the time he and Aguero come back their FPL prices are going to be down like 1.0 each.

Prices are based on reduction and increase in ownership. Agüero will probably come back at 11.4 and Rooney at 11.8 or there abouts.

Van Persie is going to hit 13.2 or 13.3 in the next week I imagine. Kagawa is going to go up too, since a lot of people wanted him but were hesitant to bring him in. Tevez will go up as well. WOW Tevez is already 9.4. Good christ.

Guys I'm thinking of raiding the last thread for any comments I missed and respond, what do you guys think, should I go for it? I do this to myself every time. I should get with the times :P

Michus price has rocketed, it went up 0.3 in a day!

Unsurprised about Tevez, everyone who had Aguero has just switched.

I need to get RVP in but it will cost me at least 3 transfers...ouch.

Ah, hope they dont get Dembele :)

These bids are standard Levy, they were made before we had the Modric money and were just silly opening bids. We seem quite serious about Willian and Isco. I like the look of Aubameyang, the St Etienne striker as well.

Anything less than 150 replies is just not good enough.

I'm usually hard on British players but that Joe Allen has my attention. The kid has me eating my words and crow to go with it. He is a monster on the field..

I brought in RVP because I had Rooney in before. I had to take a hit on points, though :(. Not having good luck - my main striker was Agüero, and then Rooney. Now that I've picked RVP, this could signal a multi-week injury for him.

Ah well. Glad I had Michu from week 1. I can't believe he's already 7.0.

I'm going to have to skip out on Tevez, sadly. When Agüero comes back I'll probably go back him, since I do believe he and Rooney will be cannibalizing each others' points too much to be worth their value. Then I can buy Hazard, who is already reaching uncomfortable levels as well. =\

Wow. There must have been a ton of goals this weekend. I was just looking at fantasy and was alright with my gw until I saw some of the other people. So long £5.

I have to make some tough choices this week. United have two easier games coming up and City are home to QPR so im thinking they'll both score big. Chelsea don't play next week either.

I was tempted to make some early changes before the prices rise but I think there's gonna be alot of transfer action this week so im holding out.

Wonder what Sahin will be priced at.

I took out Ba and Hazard for RVP and Sterling. Hope Rodgers plays him against Arsenal, he'll be on a high so hopefully he'll let keep that going. Plus he's better than Downing :P

Wonder how much Hazard will go for when Real/Barca come in for him.

Can Ronaldo's fee be topped?

BTW Wessiej/Confuziz I hear Douglas has rejected Fulham.
