Do we have an International thread already? I'd message Kirby, but I'm not on my main steam account right now.

Edit: Found it. You losers didn't post enough to keep it in the front page.

Question: Quas/Wex/Exort give stats even if the orbs aren't used (say I have 3 Quas orbs out, but none of the others), or do they give them only when out?

I'm really happy for mouz although I'm gonna be mad thinking about what could they have done with proper bootcamping. Buying their pennant and Na'Vi's .

Wow...love brewmaster..He transitions nicely from early mid ganker to late game initiator..It's pretty awesome as long as you can pop your ulti off (yeah I have old man reflexes)....I embarassed to say that I was intimidated to play him because of the micro but it's not that bad.

Wow. Someone tell me please if this is a bug.

I just played as Leshrac and had a Bloodstone with 20 charges. I got killed and was INSTANTLY back at the fountain.
After that the Bloodstone only had 13 charges left. But the tooltip doesn't say anything about revival.

Match id: 35918828
Timestamp: 28:21 Game Time (31:35 demo time)

Each charge bestows 1 mana regeneration per second, reduces gold lost from death by 25, and reduces respawn time by 4 seconds.

He has one of my highest win rates. I'm not the best an microing the split, but you don't need to be super good at that to get kills with the ulti. The fire panda doesn't do anything but damage, and the most important thing is to make sure that you land the stun with the earth panda. The cyclone lasts a bit long for my taste, so I don't think it's worth using most of the time unless you really need to take out a dangerous hero at the start of a fight. Purge is more situational - it only really makes a difference if there's a super dangerous buff or debuff out there, and the invis just seems kind of useless most of the time, based on how you'll typically be playing him

Use dispel on the Storm unit to end cyclone when you want them to come down.

That makes so much more sense :O

And Heavy, you're rich! (Or will just happen to have a pimped out courier for the rest of your Dota 2 days.) Seriously, those things are worth like $200+ right now. More for the unique tournament drop ones - especially for fan favorite players/teams in epic moments. Those approach priceless.

Where can you see how much these couriers are worth?

I didn't get credit for more than half of the games I viewed today, even though I equipped the pennants before the games even started.

Noticed the same thing after the first sets, so I tried some stuff and it seems like the best way to get the game to count is to enter the game with another pennant (or maybe without one) and then switch to the correct one when you are inside the game.

Ok so forgive my ignorance. But the OT says RPG and RTS

So how does this work? Are you a single cog in a team of guys? Do you control one guy then cpu's control the rest of the army?

Also, what makes this game so hard? I hear that it is INCREDIBLY difficult.

Cool thanks!

What makes them so hostile lol?

The game creates a hostile environment. Every time you die the other team benefits in gold and XP. If you die more than a couple times near the beginning of the game the team will hate you for the entire rest of the game. TBH the beginning really does set the stage for how hostile the team will ultimately end up being.

Games last a long time. There are five people on each team. Every mistake that any player makes gives an advantage to the other team. The greater the advantage the other team has, the more difficult it is to win. By extension, it's possible to play a game of Dota 2 perfectly and lose because of your teammates, and many people would prefer to believe that it's never their fault they lost.

Since a percentage of the player base is going to think that they are superior specimens who deserve to win all the time, they will mercilessly harass teammates who they perceive to be ruining their chances at victory over the course of 30+ minutes.
