Does anyone else even remember this game?
Had the game in my backlog and decided to finish it the other day.
I have to say for Sierra's last game (RIP Dear Friend), it was a pretty lackluster outing.
One of the biggest flaws I have to say is the story, it throws bits and pieces at you to keep you invested. But to me it never works. By the end of the game I really had no investment in my character and what he was doing in another timeline. Not to mention I love how the game ends with a sort of "To Be Continued Ending". I really hate when games do that, Psi Ops is still the worse of the lot when it comes to that though.
Anyway aside from the story, at least the time effects were pretty cool.
Though they start to get pretty boring by the halfway mark, and nothing clever is ever really done with them. Not to mention reverse time is really finicky on the few times you have to use it.
Last but not least the ATV sections. Im not the only one who got a Half Life 2 vibe from those am I? (Ignoring that the ATV drove like crap)
