It's like you're just getting excited to sign anyone. Do you really want Sinclair? You have depth already so I just can't imagine why his addition is necessary.

Sinclair would be a good addition. Or any player with genuine pace and someone who is a good team player to come back and defend and work for the team.

If we had someone who could hug the touchline and be a genuine threat for 90 minutes, not just for 20 like Johnson was, then surely that would mean more room for Yaya, Silva and Nasri to exploit.

City could do with a wide player though. They have people who can play there, Nasri, Silva, Balotelli even Kun and Tevez...but they're all inclined to go inwards. It was a bit of a problem for them at times last season.

Maybe the 3-5-2 is designed to get them some width but they don't have any out and out wingers in their squad at the moment.

Gerrard was on SSN there saying he thinks he can still win the league. I eagerly await Salazar's verbose take on the matter.

Its nice to want things. Perhaps next season Liverpool will be in a better place, but they should really be aiming for 5th this season.

You know how DHL paid a vast sum of money for their name to be on the front of United's training kit?

Well if Froggie keeps banning newspapers from his Carrington press conference's how are DHL getting anything from the deal lol?

Just a thought.

If you aim for 5th, then why not aim for 4th? Right now I don't really see Arsenal, Tottenham, or Newcastle as a class above us; I consider us on par with the teams outside of the top three. Not saying we'll get it, the odds aren't favourable considering the sheer number of quality teams vying for that place, but I think we can challenge for it.

DHL aren't paying millions of pounds to advertise directly to a couple of journalists at a press conference DC.

Niang, the 17 year old striker that we signed yesterday, is officially a Milan player.

So we've just sent a keeper out on loan to Charlton. Making room for Lloris? If we can shift Cudicini I think we will have three very good keepers to choose from in Lloris, Friedel and Gomes.

I'm only a few episodes into series one of breaking bad, the way this thread is going there is no way someone won't drop spoilers at some point

As soon as they do I'm gonna tell on you so hard

I know that lol. I'm just joshing. I think Fergie is a bit of control with all his bannings. I remember when he refused to speak to the BBC until they apologised. They never apologised. Does he speak to them because he is now forced to? As a rights holder he has to otherwise United are fined?

At United journalists get banned for reporting the truth.
At City Mancini invites them to toast Fergie's 70th birthday and wishes them and their families well.

This is potentially the most pointless post you've ever made.

Silva can't play wide at all, doesn't have the tank for it. None of the rest you mentioned are really suited to the position or play their best football there, although Balotelli has looked good there before.

Purely a Mancini thing. Our width is non-existent. All the more reason not to sell AJ. Fucking Mancini.

No it's not lol.

Why is Fergie banning journalists who write true stories?

Right... this is the post you could have made:

Why is Fergie banning journalists who write true stories?

Wrong, but succinct and with a point nevertheless.

This is the post you did make:

There is at least 7 pointless bits of information in that post.

Just beat Germany 2-1 away with Ireland in FM, putting us top of our World Cup Qualifying group. Oh, if only reality had any semblance of FM about it.

If he's anything like he is on FM12 you'll win the Premier League.

Mutterings that we are trying to sign Isco as well. It's all heating up now, I expect we will sign 3 or 4 players this week.

I've agreed a fee for him with Napoli. I'm a huge fan, I'd be more excited for him than Willian.

If you get Dembele, Isco, Willian, and Lloris then, fucking blimey.
