If walcott leaves, we need a RB, DM, winger, striker.

Here's what I want: DM (M'Vila) and a versatile defender that can play across the backline (Mbiwa), and if there's cash left over, hijack the fuck out of the Lloris deal. Cazorla + Giroud and Podolski solved nearly every problem going forward (the goals will come), now we just need to tighten up the back line and we'll be set.

A full back is a necessity because Santos is shit and Sagna/Jenkinson are injury prone but I don't think Wenger will buy one. Winger would be nice too, but already quite a bit of depth there given how many central players we play out wide; get ride of Arshavin and Walcott and I'd want a winger brought in... but not sure who we can afford that's still decent quality. No point spending big on a Navas who has huge homesickness issues.

Absolutely don't want another striker. Tell one of Bendtner/Chamakh/Walcott to stay and tell them they'll be the backup striker.

Not too fussed about Dembele. He is a good player but, and perhaps I'll be wrong about this, he isn't THAT good.

£15m is a good deal for Spurs and Fulham though. Is Dembele really going to be the Modric replacement though? Seems like a different type of player altogether.

I don't think United ever made a proper attempt to sign him either, we don't buy CMs.

RaGe_pt, what can you tell me about Cardozo?

I can chime in a few thoughts since I watched some liga zon sagres

He's great at heading, can string a pass or two sometimes. Has a very powerful shot, scored some spectacular long distance goals....Also good at taking penalties and free kicks

But as Rage_Pt stated, he's really slow at times(more so last year), and looks like he doesn't give a fuck about at times....

Yay Braga, more Viana!!!;)

Another striker? We've just bough Giroud and Podolski. Unless Arsenal get rid of Squillaci and Djourou I don't see them buying a RB or another defender for that matter.

A winger if we are lucky and a DM in our dreams. Right now the squad is still big so unless there is a lot going on in the next few days, I wouldn't expect much coming in.

Dembele is a good player. Fast, strong, direct and a very good dribbler. But he's not Modric. I'm interested in seeing if Spurs have another CM in mind.

Agreed with Swansea? Who reported that?

Huw Jenkins: "We haven't actually agreed any deal with Man City at the moment. I would have thought if they really wanted to sign Scott Sinclair they would have dealt with it a little bit better than they have. But that's their business. But it has dragged on too long and I hope one way or another it will be concluded the next couple of days."

Everyone reported it. Initially it was reported at the 5m, then at 6m, then at 6.2m finally with Sky in particular reporting it was completely finalized essentially.

The less spots for Italy, the better. I want all the money.

Even when they're scored I think they're stupid
Same.
yeah they are cool when they work.. but if it doesn't then you just look like an idiot
They're cool when it's Pirlo doing it on the back of being player of the tournament at the age of 33. When some sprouty young bean tries them in a game that could cost his team millions of pounds I just find it stupid.

Even if he'd have scored that my reaction would've been the same:

'What a nob'

He's a great player, and I've championed him for over a season now, but he's nowhere near good enough as a creative playmaker to replace Modric. It's why I said before about that proposed midfield that whilst it's good, the passing range and ability to control possession just isn't the on the same level.

Dembele is a god damn boss. Good touch, plays smart, is a tank. Fuck me I'd love him at Arsenal.

Giroud/podolski are our only striker options. Chamahk/park are not good enough, looks like they're leaving anyway. You need squad depth to get anywhere.

Oh by the way, only Juventus and AC Milan are in the CL now. Juve in a group of death and Milan, well....

Yeah Dembele is class but Modric for me was the best midfielder in the league after Yaya. Spurs are a completely different team without him there, but it'll be a waste of his talents if he's sitting behind Khedira.

They definitely need a replacement as well as Dembele.

Yeah he reminds me of, and no hyperbole intended, Yaya Toure.

Not saying he's as good as Toure but he's in that mould. His move from a striker to a midfielder seems to have worked out for the best.

So with Dembele leaving and Dempsey's situation in limbo.. what is Fulham going to do at this point to replace these guys? Going to be interesting to see their next few days.

Dembele isn't meant to be the Modric replacement, Is he?

His price probably means that he has to be. Still think it's a great signing for Spurs, he's a top player and he's still got time to grow and develop under AVB. I don't think a midfield three of Sandro, Dembele, and Gylfi has enough passing ability though, in my opinion. There's nobody to really pull the strings and conduct Spurs, as Modric did, and as a player like Moutinho would do.

I said it in the middle of the summer and I stick by it, Spurs should've seriously gone for Joe Allen. I'm glad they didn't, ecstatic in fact, but he would've been a decent replacement for Modric in terms of someone who can come in and dictate the tempo of possession.

braga! :O

pes 2013 second demo out on psn us!

What's it like compared to the first?

Noticeably different?

Heard a few mentions for LOF now, what's the site like? FSS has expired for me now, was just wondering if LOF is any good or whether to just renew with FSS.

LOF has no lag but they don't show all the matches. Just mainly British ones. It's annoying. FSS is better for coverage.
