I don't think the price is THAT crazy. It's alot, sure, £32m is alot of money.
But he's only 23, he is already very good and he could go on to be one of the world's best. If he stays at Bayern for the next 8/9 years and plays the way he did at times for Bilbao last season, it'll be worth it.

We already got Dante, he's a fantastic CB for the price. Boateng, Badstuber, Dante. Well covered in that department
I know Dante is pretty decent, Buyten is pretty much out of the mix with he's injuries, Boateng is a bit of a liability in my opinion. Badstuber is solid and has years in him. I think you could do with one more.
Martinez is your second DM at the club after Gustavo right? I still think you guys could do with another CB, I'd just like to see one more and then Bayern has the best all round team in the world for me.

I could see Fergie lining up a midfielder if the Nani rumours are true. It would be odd for him to move to Russia at this stage of his career though. And I really hope he stays. When he's in form, he's one of the best wingers in the league. Otherwise, yes, it would be a pretty big net spend for one summer.

Dante is better than Badstuber. Boateng is good, he just needs to focus.
We should get another CB next season when DvB retires/leaves. Right now is pointless.
If we do sign a midfielder I can see it being someone <£10m really. A bit of cover for Carrick as opposed to a first team player.

The price is a bit steep, but he's certainly class, and a versatile and consistent player at that. Should work out to be a signing appreciated with greater weight over a period of years rather than weeks.
