Keep the dmr and make the AR much stronger up close and weve got a game with a little variety instead of a BR match every game.

Viewed these screenshots as well as direct feed videos on my 55" D8000 and it looks great.
Game is 720p native with some good AA. It will look great on our TV's.
I'm a huuuuuuuuuge Halo fan, I've just been tricked in the graphics department too many times. I'm buying the collector's edition day 1 and have had it preordered for months. I just hope I'm wrong. The video and screens looked incredible.

I've said it before on GAF but over this gen I've been completely disinterested in Halo after playing Halo 3. I put at least a thousand hours in to Halo 2 and absolutely loved it but 3 did nothing for me. But this game.... holy fucking shit. Absolutely a day 1 purchase. It seems like 343 is really making it their own. They should have held it for launch of the next Xbox. It looks like a next gen game to me.
I don't think any of my old high school friends from back when I played Halo 2 really play games much anymore though. I'll have to find some people on GAF to play with.

Huh, everything feels bigger again. Gives me a little bit of a Halo 1 vibe which is my fave. Flagsasination looks stupid with the announcer and all. I like my Double, Triple, Killtacular and repeat. That's all that's needed for Halo.

I really don't think this would be the case at all. I know they perceive it that way, but I don't think it would hurt system sales. Xbox and PC as platforms are designed to be almost interchangeable based on your preference. Some people like the simplicity of a console and always will. Don't see how releasing it on both of their platforms could hurt that. It's a myth. If I didn't have an Xbox right now, it's not like I'm running out to get one to play Halo 4, but I would buy it if it was on PC...
It's not like they don't shoot themselves in the foot in other ways all the time anyways...

The art is insanely well-done and perfectly matched with the technology. It's beautifully crafted, colorful in the right way, and... well, it's fucking lush! Fuck. I need to get an Xbox 360 again, just for this game.
(EDIT) But yeah, graphics aside, I know the multiplayer will be fun. I mostly anticipating the co-op through the campaign, always my favorite part of the Halo games. Multiplayer and single player always comes second.

Animations still look like crap, but the explosions are all pretty and such.
At this point people got to accept that it is a console exclusive. If Halo 3, ODST and Reach didn't get ported, then you get a clear hint that it's not happening. Furthermore, I find it funny that when I use the same logic you descibed for their favorite non-selling exclusive game to port over to PC everybody is up in arm. Weird.

Man Halo is definitely back. After watching that video, i fully expect Halo4 to give BO2 a serious run for its money on the Xbox live top 20.
All of the maps ive seen so far look great and look fun too. And that pistol with the flag, love it. I cant wait. Need more HD videos!

It's because people complain about everything. The more platforms things get ported to the better, so long as it doesn't have a negative affect on the game's design.
I think not porting the other halo games, well, namely halo 3... was a huge mistake.
Can't get over how nice this is shaping up to be though. It would be amazing if it was as fun as Halo 2 was.

Im not convinced that Win8 and Next gen wont allow that eventually though. Release a game on xbox8 (or whatever its called) that works for PC as well. Im kind of expecting that from MS.
