Thanks, missed that. :sbeginning this Wednesday
Yeah, it's amazing. Of course, I've been playing a lot of WoW/Diablo recently so all it's done for me is bloat my backlog to ridiculous proportions. Going to hopefully rectify that over the coming months (just need to convince myself I don't need to platinum the games).PS+ has been a godsend. Really helping me play games while money's been tight. Need to upgrade my HDD though, things are getting a little tight there too.
haven´t been following this thread .. do we know the EU+ deals for September..? I know RDR is coming but what more..?
You can add time to a PS+ acct any time you want.

I pay for both Xbox LIVE and PSN Plus. I find PSN Plus to be more rewarding for its cost, as you do get many games for free. Yeah, they are only accessible for as long as you are a PSN Plus member, but if you like to play for trophies, what are the chances of returning to a game 1 year after completing it?playstation plus is really good, i would highly reccomend it if your on the fence

According to a comment on the EU PS Blog, Ross is no longer content manager for Europe.

Let's hope the new guy carries on his good work.
Was such a nice guy.
Yeah, he was! Always took people's advice and recommendations for Plus updates too. And tweeted hints as to what the next game was to get the community involved.
Like i said, hopefully the next person is as awesome as Ross.
Maybe they'll make him global PS+ overlord. He has got another role it seems now.

hopefully PSN EU will get more resources, they always seem short.
Its like SONY Japan does not care for or understand the european market and thus we suffer the consequences of late releases or no release at all
(also fuck the countries that demand everything in their own language....)
I'm tempted to do this as well, but I'm erring on the side of caution as my sub runs out next year (not sure when, H2 I think) and we will be nearing the release of the new PS console at that point. Will be sticking another 12 months on to my current subscription. Have had it from pretty much the begining and this is quite possibly the best thing Sony have come up with.

maybe i misinterped your post, but:
huh? Euro PS+ was preeeeety fucking awesome so far. I personally call it "PS-Backlog"
EU PSN is seriously lacking compared to US content and offers
They've been pretty slow to adopt the Vita, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm sure the service will continue, but if "all" I get are games for the PS3 when I want to play shiny new things it'll be wasted.I'd be surprised if they didn't keep PS+ going on PS4. Seems to have been pretty successful for them. Means they can keep their "free online play" line, too.
Personally, my subscription runs out in December, so i'll be topping up this week with the 25% discount.

25% off for all purchasers and yes of course, you can stack the 12 months on top of your current subscription.

EDIT: Someone remind me how I check my expiry?
I'd think they would be quicker off the mark with a new home console, though. Even if they just keep giving you PS3 games, there'll probably still be cloud storage etc, probably some new perks tooWho knows?
Thanks. Tried checking the SEN website but there's nothing there, I'll check the PS3 later.Account Management -> Transaction management -> Services (Something like that)
Yeah I hope so, although I wouldn't expect PS4 retail titles at the start.![]()
US isn't SonylandRelease Vita ps plus info...and how about a US 25% discount??
Thanks a lot Goldrusher guess I'll bite since I hope to have my PS3 until the end of 2013.
Even if the PS4 may be near in 2013 I'm going to wait and check the Hardware/Prices/Games (then get it obviously).
When is Sony supposed to release info on Vita PS+?
When is Sony supposed to release info on Vita PS+?
Yeah meant to start this month, so hopefully we get some info this week
Man if they launch an Instant Game collection composed of PSP games and PS One games with like 5 Vita titles in the first year (Little Deviants, Hot Shots, Escape Plan, Virtua Tennis, Unit 13 for example) I'd be buying a Vita first thing tomorrow.

Too amazing, not going to happen.![]()
I'm expecting maybe 6 or 7 PSP/PSOne games and 3 or 4 Vita games (Reality Fighters, Everybody's Golf, ModNation Racers and something like Escape Plan or Mutant Blobs Attack).
It'll be interesting to see where they go with it on Vita
