Not that great of a photo as every method of extracting a picture from my phone has been blowing up lately, with the min.us app force-closing on start-up now.
I really, really want to buy a new desk and have been shopping for a while, but the current one I'm using was a gift that may be a hassle to get out of here.

I just moved so am in the process of getting some art for my wall, because it being barren just seems too weird. The older stuff I used to have, the wife essentially "accidentally" lost it during the move. Can't till after we get new furniture for the house too, as then I can buy my 2 IPS monitors.

Well, it's a mess. But here it is.
If I cleaned it it wouldn't be representative of how it usually looks anyway.
The laptop is used basically as a stationary computer, so everything there is hooked up to it. Monitor, mouse, keyboard, USB DAC etc.
And am I the only one on GAF still using a CRT monitor? Didn't see any others in this thread. It might not look like it because I used a flash, but that monitor is fucking awesome. Great colors and black levels, and a 2048x1536@75hz resolution. Easily the best monitor I've used. The only problem is just that it's friggin' huge. Oh and the keyboard (not the one behind the monitor) sits on top of the stationary computer/server under the desk if you're wondering, because obviously I can't put it on the actual desk right now. I have it in my lap when I'm using it.
Also I noticed that a lot of the messy desktop pictures in this thread has an ashtray on the desk. Is it just smokers that are messy in general?
I'm liking the RAW papers and have used cigarettes

Sweet desk. If a bit empty looking. I had a similar setup back in college. I'd output my laptop to a monitor when surfing the net, and then just by itself for gaming.

im working on my desktop, otherwise im using the 3 monitor display.
I used to have my ipad setup next to me, but that added 4th screen was serious overkill. I feel so gimped now if I'm not on a 2 monitor set up. 3, is ideal for me though.

Thanks! The case is an Antec 300 that I modded slightly. I cut the HL logo out and replaced the stock fans with TB Vegas Duos.
It's actually not that bad, that's purely my bedroom. We have a much larger living area where I have my plasma.

Then there's my mic, wacom tablet pen, fan I made from a case fan and an old speaker body, some books and a sketchbook, and my 32" TV and couch is off behind the camera.
Great, now I'm checking online for prices on Sims 3 Katy Perry collectors edition just to get that sweet ass poster.

Nah just a T Series T410 and T430
the T410 is covered with some black tape because the leds bothered me lol
the new T430 can play BF3 @ a decent framerate and decent settings, I was pleasantly surprised but it has a Nvidia NVS 5400M in it with a Gig of vram.
the X1 carbon is Crazy thin compared to my two laptops.
