The spidey sense scene I was talking about was when Gus enters the hospital parking lot and "knows" something is wrong with his car.

I agree that it seemed weird at first, but given the fact that it was actually Walt that poisoned Brock, not Gus, Jesse's behavior would have seemed very odd. Given Gus's extremely careful nature of always being ten steps ahead, it's not hard to imagine that he would be very suspicious after essentially being lured into a public place by some random event that he knew nothing about. He also must have sensed Jesse's anger towards him given his own history of allowing children to be put into violent situations.

You know, the airplane crash is one of my favorite moments in BB. Unlikely? Sure, but it still left me schocked when I saw it.
Yeah everyone has to admit that with all the red herrings throwing us off through the cold opens it was very random and surprising. At least the GAF armchair detectives didn't have it mapped out before the episode. Even if you don't like it in retrospect.

what's so great about Mad Men's writing? aside from making characters act in unrealistic ways to make their lives even more miserable? I love the show and the era its set in, but some of the plot points are hilarious.

as for BB, it's big, bold, stylish: like a comic. why can't people just see that?

Something that I've been wondering:

Is this shit even possible? lol. I mean, getting half your face completely blown and still be fully conscious for 15-20 seconds after that.
It's Fring. I'd believe it.

S4 is my favorite season, but this was the worst scene in the series. Yes, worse than the airplane crash.

I dunno, the slow pan gave me half a second of "holy shit this guy is still alive, how the fuck?" and then then with the face reveal it was like "lol, ok, he's dead."

I think I've blocked the airplane crash from my mind or something. I need to go back and rewatch.

I thought the Fring thing was both a cool way to end a great episode, but also pretty over the top (at least until Walt turned into a Bond villian this season). Still, BB has never been 'realistic' and while great, it's got those crazy moments that give a 'summer blockbuster' feel that imo are the reason it's not quite on the tier of a lot of the best dramas. The show is very entertaining and well done though.

I've never watched Mad Men or The Wire. Can they really be better than this?

I watched the first season of Deadwood and it didn't grab me like this show has, but I still enjoyed it.

Breaking Bad my favorite show of all time, with LOST in second. The highs in LOST are still some of television's greatest moments, but the show was pretty damn inconsistent.

And yeah I agree, the two worst scenes of the show were the plane crash and Gus walking out of the room. I remember thinking "Aww, c'mon on" during both scenes.

If you love Breaking Bad and Lost, give Justified a try if you haven't already. It's my third favorite show after those two.

It looks like something out of a schlocky horror film. Its too cartoony and over the top, even for this show.

i'm just glad SOA is coming back on.. man that was gonna get tough if it didn't.

any other TV show recommendations? Someone mentioned Homeland, might try that out.

Homeland is really great, had an awesome first season. Boardwalk Empire is another great show, going into season 3. Also there is Walking Dead.

Homeland has three really great lead actors and they are a pleasure to watch. It's not revolutionary and is predictable, but the actors make it great.

I was going to check out Walking Dead next cause I've heard a lot of good things about it. Since I also love Breaking Bad and Lost, I may check out Justified. I haven't heard much about this show from people I know.

Justifed S2 is on BB levels. S1 and S3 aren't quite there, but they are damn close. Great show, highly recommended. Olyphant is awesome in it.

I'm not as much a fan of The Walking Dead as a lot of people, but I really like Justified.

One of the very few moments I have disliked in the show, this was really terrible. But I guess they wanted one last meaningful shot of him, other than having him blown to bits by the bomb and never seen afterwards.

I really like the way Gus died. Fitting death.

Especially since it fits the reoccurring "Face-off" thing in the show.

Was that the one with the Sunshine soundtrack behind it? Oh man I hope it's not gone forever, easily the best BB fan video.

The creator seemed to be updating the video with each new episode. That latest one has footage from the final ep.

I was just flipping through the HBOs and noticed some movie with Cranston in it called Terror Tract.

His story is about an evil monkey that terrorizes his house that he can't stop, including when the monkey kills professional wrestler Buff Bagwell. It features not one but TWO fightscenes involving a shotgun-wielding Cranston against the monkey. Fantastic.

Is that the sequel to that Malcolm episode that also involved fighting a capuccino monkey?

So are we thinking that 5 Part 2 will pick up a year in the future ala the 5.1 premiere?
nope. I'm thinking it continues right where it left off. And that flash forward will be in the final few episodes, possibly even the final.

There still needs to be quite the time jump to get there. I think we're 9 months away from walt being in that diner? A lot can happen in those 9 months.

I hope you're right. I don't want to be deprived of a super intense scene when Hank comes out of the shitter, where Hank knows who Walt is, but can't yet let on.

That reveal should have been better than hank taking a shit.

I thought he was gonna go to flip the light switch on his way out, knock the panel loose, and find the poison, myself.

But Hank discover that Walt is Heisenberg whilst dropping a deuce works too :lol

The ricin is behind his nightstand.

Fuck. that would have better. Hank finds the ricin, replaces it with a fake and in the meantime removes the hidden camera he had in there. That would have been beyond perfect.

hank somehow moving a nightstand and unscrewing a nail to find the ricin behind an outlet would be the biggest reach of all time.

Only Gus has a 6th sense. 2 characters having one would be too much.
