60fps?
Hopefully not. In fact, I think Insomniac wisely said it only wants to pursue 30fps games going forward.

Should I be bothered? That is, any word about Move support?
Looking forward to seeing the gameplay trailer.

Insomniac Games doesn't make titles that are 60fps anymore. Instead, they've focused on things like particle effects, higher enemy counter, texture resolution, etc.
It's very difficult to sell humor and gameplay in action stills, wouldn't you agree? How would you propose they do that? Caption them?Just wait until you see / play it. It's definitely not standard cover-based co-op that we're used to.
Pretty unlikely, I'd say. It'd just be extra money spent, and EA doesn't seem at all interested in Move Support *cough Dead Space 3 cough*
no, no PC for now. We needed to focus on the two consoles with the new engine, and not worry about all of the configuration options and various hardware combinations for PC at the moment.

Insomniac games originally unveiled Overstrike at Electronic Arts' E3 2011 press conference. The game's debut trailer, created by animation studio Blur, blended comedy with action. Characters were heavily stylized. Environments were bright and cheerful. Dialogue was campy.
As the game developed, Insomniac says the lighthearted visual tone of Overstrike didn't match what it was ultimately becoming: a mature, coop shooter with a more serious story centered around the Fuse element.
http://www.gamespot.com/overstrike/previews/insomniac-shows-what-it-does-best-with-fuse-6396308/In that way, Fuse is almost a blend of Ratchet's humor and Resistance's seriousness. The things it shares in common with both those games, however, is its sci-fi nature and whirlwind tour through various settings affected by a powerful threat. It's almost got a Bond film quality to it in that regard--its heroes are constantly on the run after an elusive organization operating in numerous parts of the world. In your journeys tracking down Raven, you'll venture all over the world, from a palace in India to Raven's intimidating headquarters in the Swiss Alps.
Man, if what you say is true 8byte, then they used the worst possible set of screens to sell this. Its obvious EA wants this to look like a dudebro shooter, and are going to push and sell it that way, regardless of any levels that make it look different.
Nice! Veeeeeeery nice. Just one more. A quick one. Weapon Wheel?
Hate=Disappointment?Man, the IG hate is too fucking strong. I'm outta this thread, PM me if you have questions dudes! Not gonna sift through dozens of posts filled with what is basically saying "I only play [insert popular franchise here] and this isn't made by them".

Dude did you play R2 Co Op mode? Best FPS Co Op mode ever.
This looked interesting when it was Overstrike, and now it looks and sounds boring.
Oh, well.
Apparently they think the audience is confounding.

"God dammit."
Fuse will retain a degree of its original humor, Price promises. He says the campy humor shown in last year's trailer has been replaced with a "more sophisticated, dry wit."
Yeah
That whole write-up at the bottom was pretty depressing. The worst quote for me was
"more, sophisticated, dry wit."
I usually interpret this as jokes about human remains getting on someone's jacket, but I could be wrong.

Way to take that way out of context.
How would you put that in context?
I quoted their entire answer.
Edit:
Oh, I see jstevenson answered in the thread and I didn't notice.
The launch period is such a horrible choice. Games like God of war are coming out at the time. This game will tank hard. Hope they change it
No, the dry wit was always in the game... but there was some pretty campy/slapsticky humor too that didn't fit as it continued to evolve, so a lot of that continued to get cut and more dry humor took it's place.
The Overstrike CG trailer exhibited some of that dry humor in Dalton's descriptions of everyone.
Not gritty enough.
The story won't be grounded or believable, it will be full of stupid cliches and won't make any sense if you'll think about it for more than two minutes. That's just how it is in shooter games... in most of games. It's better to embrace the gameplay, focus on that and add a simple/atmospheric/funny story that glue the parts together. Serious storylines that suppose to be realistic aren't working for me at all.
Insomniac knows this, not sure what happened.EA happened
I thought people were saying this was going to be an FPS now, oh well. Still looks interesting.
Hate=Disappointment?
Nope.
See the thing is, I don't actually think the style, outside of the weapons and perhaps some enemy design, has really changed that much. It's evolved, and it's a more grounded take on where we were. Still a lot of humor, character, development. It's a crazy story that isn't trying to be hyper realistic, just grounded and believable.
Only Game Informer was mistakenly saying this. It was probably an intern. Despite many people who knew better saying otherwise, most of GAF ignored it and got on the hate train.
Why would EA have ANY say of Move being supported or any other aspect of the game when this is a partners program title?
Yup, you have to care to be able to hate.
All I'm seeing here is disappointement over the design choices that have been made and over the screenshots available.
There is just not enough here to hate. Let's hope for a fucking brilliant trailer.
I am super disappointed by the change in art style.
Yes! (Enemy health was tonned down for release)I played the beta, is that the mmo-like thing where enemies take like a million bullets to die?
