Is there online coop in this?
no online in the 3ds version? fuck how hard is it to implement online play in the handheld for fucks sake.
Can you use the touchscreen as a keyboard too? Because that would be cool.
They couldn't be that stupid to not include it...

Welcome back!

What would the Monster Hunter 3 experience be without the emotional rollercoaster of network instability. It's a feature like any other. Some people just know how to use it more often

Damn it to hell!

Will be my first Monster Hunter game, heard good things so excited to try it out when its released.
Great news for MH fans.
For others: Capcom shot themselves in foot, etc etc.
My waifu in HD.![]()
Is there a high res version of this with the Ultimate logo? All I have is the Ultimate logo on a white background.
I couldn't find what you were looking for, so I just pasted the logo over the existing background. Pardon the sloppiness, and I apologize that the resolution isn't as high as you wanted.

...oh, wow.
Green Guildie > Red GuildieDon't diss my waifu.![]()
Most of that thread is bickering and port begging. All the MH bickering and port begging was done in several different threads in the past few months. :xIt hurts seeing the little attention this thread receives compared to the Bayonetta 2 thread. I have a bad feeling that MH3 Ultimate is going to bomb horribly on both consoles never to be seen again on the west![]()
a real monster hunter game with more than 480 lines of vertical resolution
who'd a thunk it
Green Guildie > Red Guildie
dat giggle
It's significant for Monster Hunter fans in the west since, well, they're actually releasing it here.can someone please explain the significance of this announcement? i'm all for nintendo and they being successful 150%, but i've never played a single monster hunter game and only know by seeing charts how successful mh is in japan (worldwide too?). i can see this is a big deal, i'm just honestly asking why in order to understand better myself.
I'm reserving judgement until I see how much this game has been expanded from Tri.
We know how expanded it is, it's been out in Japan (on 3DS) since December.
- 50 big monsters, up from Tri's 18.
- 22 small monsters, up from Tri's 17.
- 12 weapon classes, up from Tri's 8.
- Shakalaka joins Cha-Cha as a helper NPC.
- Target Camera for vaguely Zelda-like lock-on.
- Customizable HUD and menus.
- Dynamic shadows (instead of blob shadows.)
- Additional G-rank difficulty level.
- Accompanying armor and weapon sets for the new monsters.
- Downloadable missions.
I wonder if the camera lock-on will be present in the Wii U version even though the second analog stick makes it obsolete.
