How many of the new monsters are just subspecies of the old ones?
Ummm, the Pro controller doesn't have a specific thing for a headset, I wonder if the console has support for normal Bluetooth stuff.Yeah. There's also a headphone jack, as well as a microphone built into the controller. They could even do video chat if they really wanted to.
Since this is a 3DS port, wouldnt the WiiU be upscaled as well? Or has there been any technical talk around the WiiU port yet?

Trust me you won't want to turn it off.
Someone help clue me in about subspecies. If I gather materials from a gold rathian, does this mean I can craft gold rathian armour?
MH1 and tri didn't have subspecies.

Basically.
At least that's how it was from what I played of Japanese MH2.
Always avoided handheld versions, sans a little bit of the first 2 psp games.
That's bs. They know the fun comes from playing with others and local play is more difficult in the west than in Japan. If the 3ds was getting online it would already be there.Dont know if it deserve a thread, but Capcom Community guy said that it s a possibility that 3DS version get online if we show support/many of us ask for it:

They're talking about the MH4 booth at TGS this year. I know from talking with both of them as well as reading their interviews in Famitsu that they've taken a hard look at the combat in MH and reworked it so that it's improved but still has the MH feel to it. I think people will be surprised at how good it is when they get their hands on the demo at TGS![]()

Time to build some hype until we get English language videos. Look at this beauty (but mute the sound) http://youtu.be/20JQ-RFFo54
Pink Rath? That armor set must be absolutely fabulous.

I think that 3rdHD is simply the PSP game being run in a PSP emulator for the PS3 with some filters. The native resolution for the game should then be the same as the PSP one. Probably the reason for the UI not looking too sharp. I dont think that they will resize everything in TriGHD, but at least it looks like they done it with the UI.Based the screenshot in the stream/announcement vid, it looks like the resolution is HD (similar to Portable 3rd HD, but I don't know the tech specifics of that game) but unlike P3rd the UI has also been re-rezzed so it's not an eyesoar. Seems like more of an enhanced port than anything.
I know its possible. I'm saying its bs for capcom to ask for fans to beg when we've already been begging for a western release of tri g on the 3ds with online added. There is no mystery concerning if MH fans want online play on the 3ds, the fanbase has already made that clear. It can be patched in, just like save syncing with HD Ver. is.
Yes it's pretty awesome, its all I ever used in MH2.
Do any gaffers still play Tri? This news makes me want to start a fresh character some time soon.
Can't wait for next week! Actually I still have doubt for MH4, hope the demo can prove me wrong. They're talking about the MH4 booth at TGS this year. This was the supposed PS3 version, yeah?
Glad to see they haven't completely deleted the source code.
