I guess that Carlito dig on Orton was the result of them telling him to be more like Rock

Flair flop was the moment of the night

Also, the totally monotone "sucka thought he was gonna sell a smoothie" during the cryme tyme promo :lol

I think the atmosphere in this thread actually makes RAW worse. Whenever I read this while watching RAW, it sucks, but whenever I don't, I think it turned out okay in the end.

Cryme Time has TONS of potential to be a great tag team IMO. If done right, they could honestly be the next Harlem Heat.. And JTG has superstar written all over him.. NEIGHBOORHOODIE 4 LIFE BITCHES!

so now that cena slammed edge through the table, he's easily better than samoa joe for sure

:lol

the Throwback (Blockbuster) should be Cena's finisher but it takes too long to setup. I'm still amazed Booker is still able to use the ax kick for his finisher.

Honestly, I think that Raw is working it's way out it's dull spell(which happens every few years). Orton and Carlito has the possibility to be a nice long feud, Hardy vs. Nitro as well. It looks as though Cena IS heading to SD, and while that makes Raw better alone, it leaves Edge room to feud with guys like Michaels and Triple H, and maybe even RVD again.

Also, we just may be seeing the rebirth of the Tag Division. Cryme Tyme, Spirit Squad, Cade/Murdoch are all good teams, Highlanders are ok, and I'll bet we'll see a Hardy Reunion at some point on Raw.

Absolutely none of this is interesting in the smallest way. Edge is the only thing on Raw worth anything, and half of his appeal is being able to stare at Lita's tits while he talks. He didn't even give us that last night, even though his video package was awesome.

Yea. Yesterday's Raw has definitely been one of the better Raws as of late. Even though I know WWE won't be able to capitalize on it and the next 4 out of 5 Raws will probably be shitty, it's good to see them take a step in the right direction.

I've still yet to see anything Impact that makes me say wow. They desperately need more time. I feel like I'm watching half a show when I watch it. Also, despite the fact that they've had it for 2 years now, I still hate hate hate that six-sided ring. It never gets any less retarded to look at.

I'll never understand this criticism. It's not like I look at UFC's octagon and think about how retarded it is. As long as something is well-built and suitable for what it's supposed to do, it's all good.

Though I agree Impact has always sucked shit, and the show needing two hours gets more obvious with every week that they do the ROTATING ROSTER OF DOOM and feature half of their talent this week and then half of their talent next week until they all come across as unpushed, sporadically used nobodies. No Samoa Joe for the last two weeks has really killed their show. Can you imagine Austin missing two Raws a month during the Attitude Era?

I missed most of Raw, yet I don't really care.:) . And the six-sided ring is awful, along with the commentary, and Jeff Jarrett. Fix those things and they're golden.

Taking it with to Detroit and having it signed then framed along with a toy 6 sided ring I'm getting signed by the entire roster.

Why would you buy that? Seriously, you need to be mocked now.

Because it's one of a kind and I lost out on the red version of them. It's going to Detroit to get signed by Eric and then put into a frame.

Well, they do say a fool and his money are soon parted.

It's not rare.... it's the FYE edition. They still have them on the shelf for $19.99

There was probably a reason for that.
I guess I just have a soft spot for sports and wrestling memrobelia. Toss it in with my Joe Montana jersey and my LeBron James jersey...

Would have been cheaper to buy LAX wrestling gear.
Would if I could. Homicide's ring shorts? They'd make an awesome display piece. I've met the guy 4 times and never have anything for him to sign.

All the ones I've come across since have been te 1-disc versions, even at fye.

But I got mine, so

Smackdown spoilers froma drunk...seriously.
And from the looks of things Batista is done in the main event.

Thanks to John Brown for this report (and remember, he did have a a lot of "naughty beverages" when you read this one).

Just got back from the show and I sure did have a great time out there I drank a lot of naughty beverages so I hope I remember things right.

Mr. Ken Kennedy faced some guy named Dave Richardson I think. The guy and his kicks sucked and this match was a squash. Kennedy did some mic work about being a top tier titan and called out John Cena if he were to come to Smackdown and even challenged The Undertaker for a shot at his title at No Mercy.

The Hulliganz and Ashley defeated James, Stevens and McCool. Okish matchup with the babyface team botching a lot but still getting the win, If I were booking I would've switched the decision.

Chavo Guerrero fought Tatanka and won, I guess. I left while this match was on because I hate watching crap wrestlers, I was hoping The Boogeyman was coming back today.

The Miz beat Matt Hardy with The Mizard of Oz after Gregory Helms underhanded deception. This Miz guy is such a great heel because he is like a hate-able version of John Cena without talent.

Backstage stuff with MVP, I went to the parking lot to make sure my car still worked so I don't know what happened next.

Lashley beat Regal in a match that resembled something from WCW Nitro or NOAH.

Jimmy Ways Yang promo aired where he showed the fine art of Southern Hospitality.

CW advertisement hype infomercial.

Finlay beat Rey easily. Rey seemed out of it during the entire match and didn't even speak when I said hello, I hate Rey now.

King Booker defeated Batista when Finlay hit Batista with the stick thing from Italy. New stip says Batista can't challenge Booker one on one again.

Not sure how much stock I put into this. All i can say is take it with a VERY LARGE grain of salt....
Dave Hawk and Kurt Angle met with WWE officials last Friday morning, and Angle was told that he needed to get help for his prescription painkiller addictions. They told him to go to rehab and then return to the company once he was clean, which is something they've done for tons of other men throughout the years. Angle, despite the story that was weaved on WWE.com and in the press releases, does not believe he has an issue with painkillers, and so he flat-out refused to go to rehab or seek any kind of help whatsoever.

Vince McMahon then fired him. It was not a release, nor a mutual agreement. Angle refused to get treatment for his illness, so Vince was left with the only real option the company had at that point, which was to fire him. Whether it was to send a message or to protect the interests of the company or Angle himself, the end result is that Angle was released from his job. His no-compete clause remains in effect and will expire near the end of November.

Kurt Angle is not going to rehab, and he's not going home to let his body heal up. He'll probably go rest for three months or so, because at that point his no compete clause expires and WWE officials expect him to sign a contract with TNA. In fact, WWE officials actually encourage him to go to TNA, because he'll be working a much more limited scheduled, and the lack of house show tours will allow him to greatly rest up between shows. He'll make $500,000 or so per year to wrestle 5 times per month, and WWE sources believe that he can get his pain levels back down to a manageable level by working for the smaller promotion. There are also those in WWE that believe that Vince McMahon actually WANTS Angle to go and work for TNA, because he's apparently realized in this very late mid-life crisis he's currently enduring that he's a much better businessman and much more creatively inclined when he actually has competition to try and defeat. By signing Angle and perhaps Bill Goldberg, TNA would earn themselves a bigger place on the map and could perhaps instantly jump to that two-hour timeslot they so desire.

My TNA source tells me that they're a bit hesitant to sign Kurt, but that it's already being discussed internally. They realize that if they bring in the incredibly damaged Angle, they're going to need built-in safeties in his contract to help him avoid getting to the point he was at near the end of his WWE run. If TNA does eventually tour, Kurt Angle will likely not be on a majority of those house shows and instead will stick to the television shows and pay per view events. Since he'll instantly be the biggest star in the company, they will be able to market him as a special attraction much the way WWE does with Undertaker, thereby giving him more time to heal, reduce his addictive need for painkillers, and perhaps extend his career (and his life) by many years.

Some have speculated that Angle will go to Japan, but that's not even a remote possibility at this point. In order to make big money in Japan, you have to do shoots and fight with Pride or K1, and Angle will do neither of those. There's a small chance that New Japan or another of the big three major promotions will overpay for his services, but sources close to the situation say they don't see it happening because the rigors of a months-long Japanese tour will kill him even faster than the WWE schedule was. In all likelihood, we'll see Kurt Angle make his TNA debut sometime around November 27, a few weeks after his WWE no-compete clause expires.

Kurt in TNA would be a OH SHIT moment for sure. For now though, i couldnt give a shit about most of the people in that division at TNA. Kurt COULD change that though, which says a lot.

Hes a bit of a dickhead for refusing to go to rehab though, when everyone can see whats happening to him.

It won't be the same without You Suck. And if he dies in TNA, I think it will do more harm than good.

I think it was confirmed on another forum I go to that that Kurt going to TNA article was just done by some kid on Insidepulse. I don't doubt the information in it, but Meltzer or Keller would never, ever write something as bad as that. They're not real journalists by any stretch, but they're far better than to make assumptual comments on Vince's thoughts on TNA or to make assumptions on how TNA plans to use Kurt. And the November 27 comment makes no sense because there aren't any TNA shows that week.

if you put that up i'd edit all the wwe tags out of it, since their lawyers like to take this stuff down. i put up a cm punk promo and it was removed a day later for copyright infringement by the wwe.

stiff shit :D

God yes. Steve Williams was the shit back then. Which is why WWE ****ed up in handling him. All they had to do was let him throw some fools around with his backdrop, and he was automatically over. =) Or just save the Backdrop for TV and use the Dr. Bomb on houseshows.

Anyways, the Backdrop Hold he did in this match is one of the top 3 sickest backdrop holds I've ever seen.
