I remember that she was trying to defend the game, and then defended her argument with the fact that she had played the game for at least 10 hours. The worst part about this was that she was arguing about this with people who had played it 10x more than her. And even they disliked the game.

In all fairness everyone has there own tastes. i played 14 for quite a while, definitely is flawed game but i think the appeal to a lot of MMO's is the community. It is kind of silly to the point where she defended the game. Think there were quite a few people who got banned over warhammer thread when it first came out. I'm sure sure the Guild Wars 2 will have a similar following and arguments.

A question for the mods.

If there really any point allowing threads about sex tapes/nude photos of celebs etc when they seem to always turn into hot women picture threads that get locked?

A thread is obviously a way to inform Gaf of such a thing but it doesn't end well. Is there a way to make it work like stipulating that links and photos may not be posted, just discussion? or is there just no way it's ever going to work properly and the threads just act as a 'honey trap' to weed people out?

That sucks. blame space would usually interject in threads and post some off-topic shit, but it was almost always entertaining and never offensive or disruptive. What did he do this time?

I think you can find the actual posts in the thread linked, but what bothered me so much about Londa is that she was still in defense mode when she got totally screwed out of her entire Collector's Edition. I was trying to get her to just go after them and get what was owed to her but she actually went out and bought a standard edition of the game on top of that and let her other purchase go to waste just because that company had total garbage for customer service. Couldn't even get her to bother them for her own good.

I'm not sure who was on each side, but during my year ban, Vennt banned Borgnine for being my alt account when I've never even had an alt account. Even called me out in a post, iirc. So that got overturned, but I don't know the whole story. Something about similar IPs or something.

But alts aren't my style. I made indirect posts through Ronito's confessions thread like a straight g.
