I would say no, stay away from people. Everyone touches their face subconsciously and you're going to get your viral eye goo on keyboards and door knobs.
 
What is Wario64 famous for? I stopped going to gaming side like 5 years ago or more, I thought he was just a normal poster back then.
 
Stupid question since I and Google are sworn enemies, I guess:

What's the go-to platform if I want to sell/distribute/give away audio work (as in my own music) on a pay-what-you-want basis? I kinda remember something where you can either set a price or go completely pay-what-you-want, but I can't figure out what site it was.

Any ideas, GAF?
 
i got to the theater and it was in the middle of the previews.. seen the end of some Tom Cruise trailer where maybe he drives a car.. or something.. anybody know the name so i can look up the trailer

Someone hasn't read the FAQ... ;)

It's three months or 300 posts, whichever comes first (though I don't know if it's three months since you register or three months since you're approved).

Alright. You caught me, Man.

Thanks to the both of you.

The thing is Summary Man, I've seen members on here who have been a member 2+ years and still a junior, but they had few post. I've seen others with about 300 post and out of junior status.

I on the other hand, have not been here 3 full months but have about 500 hundred post and am still a junior. Maybe you have to do both 3 months and 300 post. I guess I will know in a few more days. Thanks again. You were both helpful.

People can get promoted to member early if they do something funny or get made a junior again if you post too much shit.

Unless the rules changed recently, you should have been promoted to member status by now. Other people have had the same issue before, but a PM to a mod always seemed to fix the problem. :) A glitch in the system, I suppose.

Hmm...I tried checking the FAQ right now, but I couldn't find the information anywhere. I remember when I was a lurker the FAQ was written by sprsk and contained the junior information. I guess they got rid of that info awhile ago.

Amikami: if you don't become a member after the 27th, then I would contact a mod. Until then, just relax and try not to break the rules. The mods aren't so lenient with juniors. ;)
 
I recently closed an AMEX account. I still have a small balance on it and want to make a return of something I bought with it.

Will a return still process on this account even though I recently closed the account? Im thinking it will due to there still being a payment due.
 
Does anyone has a formula which I can use to calculate how much the distance a person needs move away from the sound origin to change sound intensity from 125 dB to 105 dB?
 
Can't say realistically speaking with mentioning the possibility of "World War III" but what would that map look like?

With an alliance between Russia and China and even Iran and Pakistan and even the Central Asian states and Eastern European countries - vs? - how would that fair up against the Allies (What does South America do)

Here's my stupid question: how the heck do you post a picture on this site? I used to post images all the time but then I haven't for about a year and now I forgot how.

I know there's an "insert image" button but when I put my link in and preview my message, the image always looks broken.

Don't be, I dunno where most of them come from =P I just know because I saw it mentioned in another thread.

As for Coolio it was a thread about real-life avatars and how it affected how people saw other posters. Coolio was used as an example, and because of his devilishly handsome and symmetrical face a few people changed their avatars to his, then some added the face to their avatars.

It is a great example of one of the avatar fads. The only one that is seasonal and not a fad is the Santa hats at Christmas and maybe pumpkin heads at Halloween.

Do people use it to entirely replace their music libraries? To compliment and fill it out? I like the idea of streaming services, just not really sure how I'd integrate it into my current listening habits. Also I'd assume that it would be useless if you were in an area that couldn't receive data (subway train, etc.), right?

I use it to replace my library because i don't want to be filling up my hard drive with music. Spotify has an "offline" mode if you have the premium.
 
I think it's time to move out of my parents' house. I want to go to New York, but I have only about $1,000 in my bank account. Should I move in with someone? Will that help?
 
Is there anywhere you can buy a little wooden barrel/keg of brandy or other alcohol, similar to ones that St. Bernard rescue dogs used to wear around their necks?

If not, is there a place to buy one of the little barrels which would be suitable for containing a beverage?
