For some reason on Gaf the bold, italics, and underline buttons no long work, and clicking on my name in the top right no longer brings up the little sub menus that it used to (for finding your own posts and such). Is this just me, or is it gaf generally?

On the bold/italics/underline, there's literally no interplay in hovering over them, it's as if there is no button there at all.

Works fine for me.

I have no idea if this has anything to do with it, but everything worked perfectly until a mod did a name change for me last week.

edit - only in firefox. So weird.

You could also try using Ctrl+ if you needed to. Ctrl+I puts down italics tags. B for bold. Handy when I accidentally discovered it.

How come when I take the video I made with fraps and import to windows movie maker I get a yellow triangle that has! in it. What do I need to do to make it work?

I am asking about when I have already added.

Here is a pic:

I have Freesat wired to an older Sky dish, as far as I know it's a single LMB. I wanted to borrow my sister's Sky HD box for the F1 channel at weekends but when checking round the back it uses two coaxial cables.

Will the Sky box run fine on a single coax? I guess the second one goes to a seperate tuner for recording but don't know for sure.

I'm usually excellent at finding things but I'm stuck on this one

What was the film, set in WW2, or possibly another war, where a woman dresses up as a man and gets sent to war, eventually revels it to her close friend in the platoon and has very stiff quiet sex in broad daylight in a white ruined building while the rest off the platoon are asleep around them. I think she looks like Natalie Portman but I couldn't see anything on her IMdB. The guy was possibly a sniper. I also think there is a scene where she is shown bandaging up her breasts so they don't stick out. There is also some scene using a mirror or glass to blind/distract the guy firing a gun.

Some things may be off a bit.

I just can't for the life of me remember what it was called.

The word bona fide is pronounced "bone-ah fee-dey", not "bone-ah f-eye'd", right?
I'm suddenly doubting my pronunciation after all these years.

According to Merriam Webster both are acceptable. I tend towards "bone-ah f-eye'd" myself, which makes it sound like the word is bonafied so maybe I shouldn't.

I can see this is an Aviator watch but could someone tell me specifically what model it is?

I'm not a watch guy and don't wear one currently but I could possibly make an exception for this bad boy...

How do you get the highlight one to work, I go in options don't see where to put my name..

Click on firefox top left hand corner
Addons
User Scripts will have its own section at the bottom, click on it
On NeoGAF User Highlighter click on options
Then click on Edit this User Script

You will see

Code:
// These two variables must be set!
//////////////////////////////////
var username = "YOUR USERNAME HERE"; // <-- Your GAF username goes between the quotes.
var color = "#6 DIGIT HEX CODE FOR COLOUR"; // <-- This is the highlight color.

I use #6ca6cd for the colour which is a medium blue.

Which looks like:

So, the car that I'm leasing is due for it's 10,000 mile maintenance visit. Do I have to pay for this? I feel completely idiotic for asking, but I suppose we have this thread for a reason...

So lets say a film company or whatever goes to another province/state/country to work.

Does the film company have to follow local labor laws (overtime, regulations etc) or laws from their own province/state/country?

Is it required in your lease? Most likely you'll have to pay for it yourself, but someone with more experience in this will be able to answer it better.

Yes, of course. That's how certain countries/cities manage to lure film production to them. By having, or introducing, labour and tax laws that are beneficial to the film makers.

For instance, NZ introduced a bunch of regulations and laws that benefited the studios (but didn't benefit workers), ensure that filming for the LOTR series remained in NZ.

What is the social protocol regarding pink eye? Obviously one shouldn't go shaking everyone's hand but is it acceptable to go to work a desk job or test in a computer lab?
