What's so wrong about keeping your cups upside down? Whenever I wash the dishes I always place my cups upside down on the shelf.

Ditto. I have one of those non-slip shelf liner thingies and place the cups upside down on them. I surely picked this up from my parents, however the logic is sound. It prevents things from getting inside and collecting in the cup. Therefore you can just take the cup out and fill it up without fear of what has gotten inside it whilst in the cabinet.

I always clean a rim of a cup before I drink from it, no matter where I am. At least an upside-down cup won't have a spider jump out, or a snake.

I disagree. There is no such thing as bad publicity. I've seen people with negative tags use their name recognition and infamy to catapult themselves to the rank of beloved GAF celebrity. Although, I contemplated putting them below Member/Fisherman, but how can I put someone who left their mark on GAF below those who have yet to do so?

Having said that, a quick word of explanation, since I don't want people to get the wrong idea: this was not about asking about bans, the poster in question had a major freakout and account suicided over multiple threads. The posts have been deleted. Also Jim Harbaugh was (one of) his alt(s).

Makes me kind of sad to see a long-time poster I never had problems with lose their shit like that, but what can you do.

GAF is harsh. You post a thread about banned gaffers, get banned a year later, and someone else either searches your history or remembers the thread and drags it up again. In the time it would takes to clear the GAF cookies so you can view GAF again, it's on the front page, ready to shame you.
