Radballs is a pretty fun puzzle game for free (think a simple version of Panel de Pon) but the leader boards are really stupid, it tracks things like who has played the game for the most hours and who has used the various power ups the most times. I can't imagine why they didn't include leader boards for scores on the different levels.

The music aspects seems pretty half-baked as well, the beat bar seems pointless when you can just drag it around at will, and the scratching sounds don't fit well with the music.

Still, it's a fun little puzzle game, glad I got it.

Just got an iPhone 4. What was that one rhythm game a lot of you guys really liked several months ago? It didn't have a rock band/guitar hero note tapping look to it, but it looked amazing and I made a mental not to get it. Sorry I can't provide more detail. I just kind of remember it may have been a space like environment and you were flying on a line or something.

Argh! I can't really remember any of it, lol. I'd probably recognize the name if anybody knew, though.

Tap tap revenge?

And...

Super Monsters Ate My Condo is a big, fat dud for me. "Insulted" is the best way to describe how it makes me feel. You have to pay gold each and every time you want to use boosts. Laughable piece of shit. It's obvious there are folks here who are lovin' it -- hey, my wife think it's great. Of course, she watches Glee, so her tastes are...

Anyway, I think it's an insulting way to update the original game. Charging people to effectively limit their experience of the game.

It's the new way of things. Next gen is going to be utter chaos.

Just picked up The Last Express, God of Blades, and Super Monsters Ate My Condo. I hope they are good.

The Last Express is an absolute masterpiece and looks and plays beautifully on iPad 3. God of Blades is great but simple fun. I'm mostly digging the amazing atmosphere that hearkens back to the pulpy fantasy of the 60's and 70's. It's really cool.

I'm not touching the IAP-laden Super MAMC. Such a shame.

It really sucks in high score games too because you never know when exactly you're going to have an awesome round and beat your previous high score. Having to designate each round as a grinding round or a scoring round really limits your chances of scoring high.

I could be remembering wrong but I'm pretty sure SuperPac was just critical of a similar power up structure in Rock Band Blitz. I'm not sure how involved he was with SMAMC but it's funny/ annoying to see an AS game release a week later with the same system.

I figured most developers would have iPhone 5 resolution support more quickly, but I guess Apple didn't officially confirm what everyone knew until not long before launch.

Picked up FF2R, because hey, $1. Full iPhone 5 resolution is nice because playing some of my older titles with the letterboxing is a real pain. Dodging in Infinity Blade (which I owned and ignored till iPhone 5 ownership) was frustrating, but that game was still quite something on the new hardware. How does IB2 compare to the first in terms of length and variety?

Please do excuse me for asking this here, but is there a free app that works like CDisplay?

Don't bother with any of the free solutions, they're uniformily awful. I tried them all, until I broke down and got Comic Zeal. It's like $5 or something, but definitely worth it.

Yeah, it looked like a pretty obvious IAP reboot

Ghost Trick is well ported.

PW Collection, not too sure about the new font, but let's be realistic, it's gonna take real effort to fuck up the gameplay of PW when porting :P

Sell God of Blades to me :)
I'm really tempted, but I've been taken back by the 'boring' or 'dull' comments about gameplay...I LOVE IB1-IB2 if it can be of help; and I really dig the style.

I can go 12 seconds on hardest mode. Whoa the last express is out? Cool! Last year I found a full boxed copy with guide at a Salvation Army for 4 bucks. .. Doesn't run on osx though so. Never got around to truly playing it, only track and could get me into bootcamp.

oh batman for a buck...

fuck only have 700mb free space on my phone.

fml.

just buy and download it in iTunes appstore on your computer and save it for later

Ziggurat was pulled from the store, I guess? Can't find it via search, nor is it in my purchased list. Really wanted to play it today. : (

easy, just install it to you iOS device from you iTunes app library!

what?
you do not have a local app library in itunes?

well, I guess you are fucked then.

always, always, always use iTunes to keep local copies and for easy installs of your apps.

because once they are removed from the appstore, they are gone forever. Regardless if you have purchased them or not.

It is surely already been stated but....

INCREMENTAL PATCHES ARE REALLY AWESOME, AND THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE SINCE THE START.

I just updated over 3 Gb of apps in NO TIME...great!!!

I would refine that to say always keep local copies of apps you care about. I have 940+ apps registered to my account. I am not downloading all of those.

;)
