Watched the first four episodes of Tsuritama. Fishing, eh? I'll bite.
The alien character is quite annoying, is he not supposed to be?
Why is there a girl character in their class that only ever smiles and is never mentioned? Gotta have a love interest?
At any rate, I hope this show undergoes a Cerebus Syndrome. Might be interesting, doesn't annoy me enough to quit it, yet.

I thought it was made pretty clear that Haru was supposed to be extremely annoying, even if he isn't being so intentionally.

I didnt find him annoying though the same va played the same sort of character type the season before in Kimi to Boku, so I guess I was used to it.
They ran out of dust. He already kicked all the available dust in the area up in the scenes before that! Lol!

The first episode of the webseries they did was kind of neat. Its kind of funny how a bunch of Infinite Stratos staffers are working on this though.
You're going to need to set your sights on bromance rather than romance if you're going to be satisfied with the show.
Haru's personality might be insufferable right now, but it should pay huge dividends soon in terms of characterization for the other protagonists. I was more than a little unsure of my enjoyment of the show at first, but in retrospect I regarded it as one of the best anime of the year, so if you can give it two or three more episodes, just hang on.

There's certainly a distinct lack of robots wearing capes in most mecha shows, which is a damn shame.

The asspulls are usually better than that. They didn't even make an attempt here. I guess they don't have to since it's filler, but still...
I'm sitting here wondering how that's different from canon?
