Cnn is constantly talking about how obama was testy and seemed a little upset and that he was peeved and that he was angry thst he was on defense

and i watched the debate and i did not see this guy. I only saw a smiling couteous guy sheesh angry black guy syndrome

Newt Gingrich "won" a debate with strong conservative views & less than a month later was losing because of his strong conservative views.
Rick Santorum "won" a debate with religious talk & less than a month later was losing because of his religious talk.
etc,etc,etc,....

Once people dissect what Romney said tonight the same will happen to him.

Even if Romney gets a small bounce, he will lose all credibility with independents and people in the middle when he's caught lying through his teeth. He needed to win big on substance to make up for current polling, and this doesn't accomplish that. It could even backfire.

I don't think it's fair to say that as many people are undecided as is reported. I get what you're saying, and I agree it should matter, but I don't think it will to the majority.

CNN, the blandest of news network, is saying Obama was testy and angry in this debate. This debate. The same debate that many of us are saying he performed far too softly.

New Hampshire and Nevada are looking like sure things for Obama as well.

If things tighten (if), I think Florida/Virginia/North Carolina/Colorado will tighten to toss-up status.

This is the new demographic math. People will learn over the next few election cycles just how much the map is now tilted in favor of the Democrats. :)

I have to echo the sentiment that this debate was horribly moderated. Even ignoring the egregious lack of assertiveness on time restraints, the questions were just awful and resulted in a regurgitation of the same talking points we've been hearing for the entire campaign.

Edit: That said, I appreciate that Romney did move a bit more to the center. I honestly don't know why he didn't do this earlier. But whether it's genuine or not is anyone's guess based on Mitt's previous history with such remarks.

He very well could. I don't know why some of you think Obama can just sit on his thumb and twirl and he'll be gifted half the country in the election. He needs to stop fucking around and hit back.
