That is just so irresponsible of the mother and she's basically telling her daughter she can do whatever she wants if she finds driving on a sidewalk an acceptable behavior.

I love that the defense is 'she was in a hurry'.
She did this everyday until they called someone.
How long would she have been waiting for the bus to move again? A minute tops?
Makes you wonder if she does this every time she happens accross a school bus.
It's been a long time since I've seen the actual numbers, it passing a stopped school bus still a huge insurance points ding? I remember it being 12 points when I was 16.

Words that are offensive and cultivate a mindset against women and minorities are banned full stop.
Everything else is at a mods discretion. So don't say it if you think it might be bannable

I don't even know if thisgonbgud.gif is still kosher, the safer bet is now popcorn.gif

I would guess bitch is often a gender specific slur, so a ban would make sense just as if it were a race or orientation specific one.

Even though it's not uncommon that a man could be called a bitch, if the intent is to emasculate him in that way, that's just as bad.

Not necessarily, but some are just plain obvious. It's often on how it's said I guess. Like saying f*** you directly at someone here.
 
I am training for my CDL for bus driving (it's free through my employment at my college, so why the hell not?), and I have already seen so many stupid people on the road. I don't know how full-time bus drivers could handle this.

Here in PA, even on a 4 lane highway that you aren't allowed to walk across, all four lanes have to stop. I had a high school buddy lose his license for a while for doing just that, driving by in one of the oncoming lanes, on the other side of a median, while the stop sign was out.

Also, the video clip needs the Nelson laugh.
 
Wow. I get irritated when cyclists use the sidewalk (using them, I mean; walking them is fine)... but this is redonkulous! How would anyone think that kind of behavior is OK?

I don't understand. If she had to do this every day, why didn't she just find a different road to avoid the school altogether? It's one thing to do this while sitting in traffic, it's just something else to do this every day without fail.

This may be state by state because it is not the law in Ohio. I've even looked at the code. I've run into that situation a couple of times and most people will stop anyway because they're not sure, and some people have blared their horns at me.

I usually stop because of the giant sign that says stop and blinking lights. And the fact that I don't want to hit a kid with my car.

Kids shouldn't be crossing a median to get on or off a bus though.

In some states, as long as there's a median, you don't have to stop. (middle turning lanes don't count)
