The truth is that Morgan probably has no idea what will be the next PS+ free game and was trying to cover Sony's ass if RE5 isn't free. He later said it was just a mockup when someone pointed out the $ sign.

If you're not taking advantage of the spend $100 to get $20 promotion on the US store you might as well. Sony occasionally offers a free game with the purchase of a PS Plus subscription though both of the games I remember being offered in the past weren't so hot (Jurassic Park and Red Faction Battlegrounds).

That's exactly why I don't think it will or should happen. Why give PS3 owners even more games that cut into the Vita offers? It doesn't make any sense. If they offer PS1 games or Minis, they should be separate from both lists.

Costume Quest for $3.75 is a good deal. Just finished playing it in XBLA and buying Grubbins on Ice (on sale for $2.50 in Allards). Payday is a cool freebie too.

I've been mostly ignoring it, but when it comes to Plus for the Vita, have there been any comments about an "instant game collection"? Also, is that this month or next? I'll wait to see what they do, but that would be a good incentive to pick up a Vita for me.

Finally, I see some people talking about redownloading stuff after their subscriptions expire -- does that apply only to people who have let them lapse, or is that standard practice? I have to re-up this month.
