What the hell is wrong with CNN???? AHHHHHHHH!!
Perhaps it is worth noting that only 1% of their sample watched it on C-SPAN, so it maybe it was subject to larger swings with such a potentially tiny sample size.Did not realize that C-SPAN was so far right -- 27/73 vs 48/44 for the whole group.
The rest of the word says Obama was the clear winner.
US news media says its a draw, CNN is a joke I had to change the channel.
They liked his performance as a debater better even if they agreed with Romney more.
Oops, looks like the mod thinks Romney was right generally with regard to his Libya accusations, only wrong on a technicality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=athcyCTnTTs
Wishful thinking. It's coming back into port on Monday.
Man I am in some bizarro world with CNN being a right wing media. I have been watching political coverage since 94 and that's the first time I've ever heard that assertion .
The rest of the word says Obama was the clear winner.

Oh, was it a direct copy/paste? I thought it was his own summary of some other outlet's take.
I knew you were better than that, pigeon! #Hope
the phoenix said:Hey, I know about that binder! And guess what -- Mitt Romney was lying about it....
What actually happened was that in 2002 -- prior to the election, not even knowing yet whether it would be a Republican or Democratic administration -- a bipartisan group of women in Massachusetts formed MassGAP to address the problem of few women in senior leadership positions in state government. There were more than 40 organizations involved with the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus (also bipartisan) as the lead sponsor.
They did the research and put together the binder full of women qualified for all the different cabinet positions, agency heads, and authorities and commissions. They presented this binder to Governor Romney when he was elected.
I have written about this before, in various contexts; tonight I've checked with several people directly involved in the MassGAP effort who confirm that this history as I've just presented it is correct -- and that Romney's claim tonight, that he asked for such a study, is false.
I will write more about this later, but for tonight let me just make a few quick additional points. First of all, according to MassGAP and MWPC, Romney did appoint 14 women out of his first 33 senior-level appointments, which is a reasonably impressive 42 percent. However, as I have reported before, those were almost all to head departments and agencies that he didn't care about -- and in some cases, that he quite specifically wanted to not really do anything. None of the senior positions Romney cared about -- budget, business development, etc. -- went to women.
Secondly, a UMass-Boston study found that the percentage of senior-level appointed positions held by women actually declined throughout the Romney administration, from 30.0% prior to his taking office, to 29.7% in July 2004, to 27.6% near the end of his term in November 2006. (It then began rapidly rising when Deval Patrick took office.)
Third, note that in Romney's story as he tells it, this man who had led and consulted for businesses for 25 years didn't know any qualified women, or know where to find any qualified women. So what does that say?
Wishful thinking. It's coming back into port on Monday.
It really was sad. I mean, CNN was the most neutral news channel for the longest. I've watched them for everything political since the Gore/Bush 2000 days. But there's no way they are being honest about these results. When nearly every other big name news station says the opposite of what you're saying.....you become biased.
The Republicans are paying them or influencing their funding or something. Something just dont seem right at CNN right now.....
you missed this part
"Margin of error: +/- 4.5%. Basically a draw."
CNN going down the drain.
Do not exaggerate poll results. In particular, with pre-election polls, these are the rules for deciding when to write that the poll finds one candidate is leading another:
If the difference between the candidates is more than twice the sampling error margin, then the poll says one candidate is leading.
If the difference is less than the sampling error margin, the poll says that the race is close, that the candidates are "about even." (Do not use the term "statistical dead heat," which is inaccurate if there is any difference between the candidates; if the poll finds the candidates are tied, say they're tied.)
If the difference is at least equal to the sampling error but no more than twice the sampling error, then one candidate can be said to be "apparently leading" or "slightly ahead" in the race.
Who agreed with Romney?
Was about his ideas about women and their role in society and the work place?
Was it when Romney talked about self-deportation?
You tell me.
I'll wait.
And read the transcript.

Only after the last debate, do you have my permission to die.

That was my favorite part. It summed up 95 percent of the reason I am not for Romney. And that video doesn't focus much on Romney, but on the ABC broadcast they did a side by side for the whole thing and Romney seemed super flustered during it.
They're not inherently right wing but they false equivalence fucking everything which makes them appear Republican friendly

It's the internals of the CNN debate poll, not my personal opinion.
So what is Romney's tax plan? I see he wants to cut taxes by about 500 billion a year or about 20% of last year's revenue. Has he even mentioned at all which loopholes he plans on closing to cover that?

This was me after the VP debate. They're embarrassing.
Well I'll ask you then since you seem to be in the minority about who won here tonight.

He'll offset it by seeking to drastically cut popular government programs, as loopholes will not nearly be enough. He hasn't and never will
Ask his supporters. Why does Romney get a free pass on his plan?

The middle class will have to "share" in this pain, as reducing the deficit is a moral obligation to our next generations.
These programs are so popular though, that he didn't want to play politics by having the electorate come to any conclusions about the efficacy of cuts to these programs before he was in a position to enact these policies.
Or am I being paranoid?

HA!
Why does Romney get a free pass on his plan? To me it sounds rather irresponsible but I'd be willing to give it a shot if I had some actual plan to look at.
True. But he could always use the deficit scare to privatize social services.I think a more likely outcome is that he wont pay for it and simply watch the deficit explode
Woman: "Mister Romney, how do you feel about women inequality?"
Mitt: "I love women. I send them home early to make dinner."
Me: "Uhh..."
Should be two sides of a T-shirt.Romney tonight: The government can't create jobs.
Romney earlier: If I'm elected I'll create 12,000,000 jobs.
