I don't think I can bring myself to watch 24 hours of Halo but I'll check in now and then when i got some time. Go Drew and Alexis!

I did make my donation, though. Every bit helps.

They already raised $1000, and they're still 17 hours away from even starting. They raised the goal to $5000, but I have a feeling they'll blow that away too.

Wonder if a thread should be made... Is this an event all across the internet or is this just a fundraising thing you can do whenever and Drew/Alexis are just doing it this weekend?

Edit: Oh it's a big thing all across the internet. I bet someone will make a thread then.

2nd Edit: I'm a dumbass: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=495789

It's an event across the internet. Greg Siward of Player One podcast will be playing Lunar: Silver Star all day tomorrow.

So, Patrick bought Friday the 13th for the NES (Spookin' with Scoops ER?)

And that got me thinking: when are they going to resume the Jurassic Park series?

I really hope once he gets a new computer and a better setup, Patrick revisits Clock Tower. He was really starting to get into the game, and I think if he put more time into it, he'd really love it.

Weird that they have this but at least they made me laugh.

Just watched the second Spookin' with Scoops. Better than the first one, mainly because I could see what was going on. But I'd really like to see Patrick analyse the games he plays with this feature. I'd love to see him talk about the aspects of the games that work and don't work when it comes to horror and common uses of themes and mechanics and how they can affect the player's experience. The current system is interesting when he plays older quirky games like Clock Tower and Friday the 13th but if I want to experience a modern horror game, playing it by myself is always going to be the better option. I think adopting an approach like that would make the feature so much more worthwhile.

I just watched this segment too, and was surprised that Patrick did not know Clock Tower came out on the SNES, since that was where it debuted. Still I'm glad to know there's someone in GB who appreciates horror games and wants to show them off. I'd love to see him play Cry of Fear after seeing how he responded to Slender.

DROP A BOMB ON IT

/edit haha they drop a GB skinned Persona 4 Golden arcade cabinet on it. that's wrong but hilarious on so many levels
