The first issue was a bit heavy on AvX wrap-up, but about halfway through there's a big explosion and things start transitioning really fast.

his books "fear agent" and "uncanny x-force" are not to be missed.

I haven't read Marvel comics in years and I just jumped in. I already knew the gist of and the spoiler from what happened in AvX and just moved on from there. I don't think any of the marvel now stuff really is going to depend on previous marvel stuff.

oh yeah, and xtreme xmen. i'm totally done with this garbage series. what a disastrously bad issue. this book is a stain on the name of both xtreme xmen and exiles. RIP x-universe.

Hmmm, has that series been any good? It's another series I could jump on early. Plus, I used to be the biggest Gambit fan when I was like 5 or 6.

It's been pretty great, in my personal opinion. I don't have any extensive knowledge of Gambit runs, but it's better than what I've read of the last one by a couple country miles.

Honestly I find it hard to believe that anyone will die, but what about severely wounded. Tim is pretty low on the list.

Maybe it's because I read a ton of Batman all at once trying to catch up-but why was the reveal in the new Batman Inc. such a big deal to Damien? Is it just that his dad kept him out of the loop?
I don't think I'll be able to deal with any of the main characters dying, especially Dick or Tim.
And yeah, there's nothing saying they'll actually kill anyone. It is called death OF the family after all. Which could mean a dozen different things.
I suspect they're taking the arc's title far too literally.

From what I'd tell, Damian, along with having a draconian posture (which Bruce doesn't seem to enjoy) he's pretty much a wildcard on the battle of Batman Inc. vs Leviathan. This is due the fact that Damian has been raised by Talia herself, so Bruce is not willing to give him the same trust than Dick, Tim, and -to an extend- Jason earned as Bruce's pupils, along with the rest of the faction. (Even if Damian has declared himself enemy of the Al Ghuls, which can be interpreted as a bluff)
Did you finish all of Fractions issues? I bought the last two Iron Fist trades by the other guy but haven't read them, i heard decent things about them. Still, like the above poster said, Fraction had a good conclusion to his run making it my favorite marvel book overall :O

After all this shit Death finally gets tired of sitting around and dealing with Thanos's shit and just smacks him down.
And after all these years I think I finally put my finger on what was "off" about Ron Lim's art - he doesn't spot blacks.
